        It's called a rhetorical question. That is a question not meant to be answered, a rhetorical (hence the term for it) device to discuss something or comment on something.
        
        Once can figure out a rhetorical question without the extra assistance but I do provide the extra assistance of using a period instead of a question mark

        A rhetorical question is nonetheless a question. Having a period at the end of a question is fundamentally incorrect. Thus for that very reason someone suggested using a rhetorical question mark (⸮), so you could've at least used that

        Exactly, you wouldn't know. That is a huge context clue that I'm obviously not asking other readers! So if I am not asking other readers, then it is obviously a rhetorical question. Punctuation indicators is just obvious frosting on the obvious cake.

This doesn't really make sense. If this fire destroys anything, then the scabbard should be destroyed by the fire as well. But instead you just put the scabbard in the fire without it being destroyed, not just at that moment but while Han comes back as well and perfectly stays in place on the scabbard without burning Han up as well?

  First it is said, not that it definitely can. Luckily author didn’t wrote about the unbreakable shield vs the sword that can break anything. You will collapse in trying to make sense of the paradox. Paradox and contradictions can exist in a story and make them interesting, as in reality nothing is absolute.

  That's what he's trying to do did you not read? They can't forge the sword cause the scabbard aka world tree wood became too hard. They trying to burn off the wood

    The scabbard is entirely wood though AFAIK. Even if something else was under the world tree wood, that should burn away as well. It said this fire burns away everything and world tree wood is more resistant than most things to fire etc.
    
    Remember there is no sword in that scabbard. MC makes swords from aura as needed. It's a aura mold.
    
    Also note they say they are going to forge the scabbard. Destroying the scabbard would more than defeat the whole point of all this.

If everyone is dead, then there is no one to call for help or make a report... They would be relying on someone for the outside making contact.

There was actually a story about a guy Whom always ordered Dominos Pizza with clock work consistency, He stopped making his normally order. Dominos actually asked the Police to make a Welfare Check, the Guy was massively oversized and fell and broke his leg or something; but the key point is that he got stuck in his bathtub. If Dominos did not make that call out of concern he may not have gotten help, he was lucky in many ways. That was just something that went well, people sadly die all the time and no one knows until a lot of time passes.

Also 'the master sword sect' is the one that put out the kill list, so... reasons... I guess? But ya it does not really make sense, unless they all got wiped out in like less than 6-12 hours or something.
