The constellation killer has very selfish way of fighting, the complete opposite of Gong-Ja's, he fights by sacrificing his past, the ralationships and bonds he's created all in service of his own goals. Meanwhile Gong-Ja fights by sacrificing his own body, using the bonds and memories he's earned to keep him sane and push him and the people he cares about forward.

On the plus side the art in this is frankly beautiful, the way that the spear fighting is drawn conveys a real sense of motion and never takes the traits of the spear for granted with changes in grip and a slight flexibility which serves to amplify the movement and speed. The characters generally feel distinct with their own personality that keeps them from being too generic, unfortunately this doesn't really extend to the main character. His personality to me feels more like the generic snarky regressor mc which, paired with the rune oath system, can make his acts of kindness seem purely transactional which clashes with his desire to do things differently than the eponymous player.
Speaking of the player, they killed off the most interesting character in the first 3 chapters, I found the way he saw the characters as nothing more than tools and his love for and desire to protect the mc since he was the only human that he could perceive as a person. I feel like there are so many interesting things they could have done with him that it's just a waste to have him die so early and if the mc being more transactional with his good deeds is supposed to be an intentional flaw it would have been better to directly compare that to the player.
TL:DR Fight scenes and art in general are really good, characters feel unique enough to stand out from each other but the MC could use some more fleshing out. Overall I would recommend this even though I feel it could be better.
