That moment where he was saying goodbye to the old blacksmith, I was like, “this here is a red flag of death, is it not?” Then the next scene the old man is coughing and I just felt sadness as I know the mix is going to take that death pretty hard. (Not spoilers, but Assumptions as I do not know the coming story)

Maybe this will be the catalyst to break her control over that sword dude, you know some combination of jealousy, anger at targeting his brother, probably mostly jealousy. I think it would be funny if her power had no effect on him to begin with and he just did these things because he truly loved her? But then he would be horrible if that’s the case as he left his daughter behind.
