What about the other couple? They changed hairstyles?! It's so cute! Was it on a date?! Did she accompany him when dying his hair black, and he's there when she cut her hair short?
Did they compliment each other?!
Aaaaaahhh this series was so fun and light-hearted, but managed to bring heavy topics to light. Even the art is fresh and different than your typical shoujo manga.
I think I prefer this to Horimiya, even though they're very different characters, but their relationship seems more introspective on both sides. While Hori never learned to say sorry without Miya pulling the 'ignore her' card. Yes, different people mature and grow differently, and I do like how the people in Horimiya interacts, but there's just something more heartwarming and less frustrating with these guys (and the pairings).
If they introduced it early like in Kanata Kara (From Far Away), where there are some ppl who are gifted with abilities/magic, then having demons and undead won't be too out of the left field. Now it's like bringing guns to a swordfight. Pretty unfair.
I'm already in too deep so will see where this is going. Hopefully it'll tie in well.
Ppl kept saying he's a good guy but I don't see it. So far, he's only good to the ppl he knows, unlike Itsuomi who wants to work for underprivileged children. I'm sorry, but he lost in everything.
I hope he learned to be more honest when he likes someone else, but I don't care enough about him to want to see it.
I really hope Subaru goes back to be an adult, but not his first adult that'd make him much older than Mio.
Once you get into the work force....it's never "over".
It's annoying at times because they're always painted as the antagonist, but it's good for drama and character building I guess.
He isn't a bad person per se, he still wanted to have the kid if she also wanted it. He respects her enough for that, but he must've gotten tired of her grieving and I get it, it's harmful to be delusional like that, but there are better ways to handle it. Humor her for a bit and slowly lead her to reality. Or just, play along with it, and dream about how their son is in another world now; y'know, like how ppl who believe in heaven will say "he's in a better place now" to help make them feel better about losing someone.
I'd love to see their broken relationship be mended, but I don't think the author is planning to do that with Doubara being the protagonist.
Josei often depicts realistic relationship and would opt for a break up if it means the girl gets to "learn about herself". I... don't really like those endings. Why can't we have both? Teaching"older" women how to be in a healthy relationship is good too.
Love interest for the art friend?
Just additional friend?
I know the big picture of what happened, but these tiny moments, referring to things that happened on previous chapters months ago is... yeah...
