yeah, agreed with annoying part, it more like support for us rather than support for MC.

idk if i will like it better if it was self monologue (because it's too common in this kind of manga).
but narrator most likely i won't like it because it feel not connected with the flow of this manga.

maybe do it like shangri la frontier using "teammate NPC", rather than "support NPC" who doesn't support MC at all like this one (but it definitely will change the story).
or maybe the "Ai support" should be the one explaining thing to MC not the other way around there is many case it should be that way, but it's always MC who do the explanation even "basic desc of a skill".
so maybe doing something like "AI" explain basic normal way of using the skill, but MC explain she come up with the idea of combining or using it different way so it more like conversation between MC and AI rather than what we have now.

i guess ai support are there so MC can explain something to us without breaking the 4th wall and without self monologue like many other manga. so when there is nothing need to explain to us, author just don't use it.
