It's not like she can tell anyone, she's stuck in a game / story where she's meant to be married to the prince.
Usually in stories like this, the future queen / fiance had to prepare to be a queen and go through queenly training and such. Sure, wanting to do it is different from it being a duty, so I understand why the prince is happy hearing her answer, but... if she refuses...can he even change fiance at this point? The king seems to be incompetent, maybe he won't give permission or will force him to marry someone worse.
(did this happen in the earlier chapter??? I forgot!!)
Although, would be kinda cool if the queen can actually kick ass.
Roll and tumble weed down the stairs while you're at it!
I'm so glad she got to slap Asahi twice! That girl really got on my nerve and it's worse because she's not doing it out of malice. It's easy to hate a "villain" who pretends to be naive but actually is evil. They might deny they lost but they will still react accordingly; angry and wants revenge.
With Asahi, even if Ruri tells her how much she hates her, it just won't click. At least, not unless the author makes it so.
I think that's why she clings to Ruri so much; Ruri doesn't get affected and would actually talk back as oppose to everyone who become a yes man.
She's not that smart so she herself is kinda boring, it's her charm ability that's powerful.
I'd rather have our character fight a smart strategist who can't be charmed by Lector; he's a smart strategic guy so I hope he'll shine more this arc.
I suppose at the time, those "classics" weren't classic yet. It only became so when years have passed and it stood the test of time. So there's nothing wrong with writing new ones to create a new classic, I think.
I've always thought about this for classical music too. Can we ever write something new and consider it part of that 'genre' or will can nothing ever join the classic rank because we're not in the 1800s?
Just to tease the husband a bit :p
I really hope they'll come back to him and see how things go.
While it's adorable to see them as young boys, I'll put this on hold for now. Backstory bore me sometime. I'm sorry author-san. I'll read it in succession later.
It always sucks when a series gets updated so slow..
Also, that's allowed?? Why haven't the others make longer pages for better pacing?
