hmmhhh.. why can't it just be some slice of life food manga? Then it could go on forever!
Or like, advice stuff on 'what food should I eat when--' then maybe it might be..
The last of the episodes are so chill that the elaborate blackmailing bullying that the teacher did felt like a fever dream.

Huh, those two pairing sounds like it balances out quite well. While her and Usami seems similar in personality, I think she seems better at reading the room, just like police officer guy. Would love to see how their dynamic will be if paired. Idk if we'd get them all paired up though. It's nice that they explore different types of relationship, but...ugh... I want Saku and Subaru to be together so bad!

Aah, I definitely missed all that you mentioned. Politic plays aren't my strong suit. It's like those webtoons / manga where they fight with words, or the old Pride & Prejudice-esque books where a certain sentence mean something and there's an etiquette depending on your standings etc.
Yeah, what you just said complete went over my head.

I guess Maries' backing is quite powerful and rich, even though Maries himself seems...to come from a lower standing, hence the push to have something to prove..? (shown in 49.5)
I'd assumed Ms Bird is also from some noble family, since she doesn't seem to be working prior to coming to Japan and uses her own money--or at least, has no sponsor--compared to Mr Maries. But she hasn't really used it as a power leverage in this. I might have to re-read again. The updates in this series is a bit far apart.

I'm also mixing it a bit with the other British traveler from Otoyomegatari as I'm trying to remember things.

Aaah, she must feel so guilty for having to do work during his birthday.
I bet the 'not seeing each other often' weighs both in their mind. But there is that mutual trust, and mutual understanding that each of them are working hard for their dream.

It's endiiiing???? Nooooooooo!!! But... but... who will give me the healthy adult relationship advices that I neeeeed??
What about family meetings? Marriage?
In this moment I wish manga has those long, 10+ chapter epilogue that webtoon has after its ending.

Okay, I'm glad that we get to see a glimpse of everyone's future with their original pairings (except for senpai, but he has his own issues to work on XD)
I really didn't like how the previous chapter kinda ended things but the epilogue made it slightly better. Answered a few of my questions (mostly about the boys).
But... so, did she end up involving herself with all of her capture target even without prompt? I guess that's what they meant about how she's 'historically' meant to interact with them at some point. Only this time, it happens naturally, and she genuinely cares about them --instead of being prompted by a dating game.

awww, Hakuyo as a little girl! So that's how the two of them met. She's the master's daughter!

The fact that the author thought of a place where the mouse would put its tail behind its coat is so cool! I'm guessing because it's raining so it doesn't want to get its tail wet while wearing the umbrella. Idk what the reason is, but it's so cute!! Makes the whole world more alive.

wtf? that's it? Her "comrades" tried to poison her fiance, slapped her across the face, lied (avoid difficult topics) to her, drugged her, used her, forced some unhealthy ideals towards her and all they had to do is go "tee hee, let's drink next time uwu" and it's okay?
Also, she's always so pissed at Khalid every time since the very beginning and she always managed to reason why she had to 'save his life' and all that bullshit.
I do like the whole 'revenge is useless' and the war talk, but she's not even consistent in her own feelings towards Khalid. You hate him, but you save him, but you reprimand those who hate him, but you hate him yourself. (He does deserve to be hate though, his yandere is a bit unnecessary.)
I think I'll put this on hold and just wait until it reaches the end before continuing so I can skip the annoying parts.

I like that even though I can't see their faces, their body language is quite clear that I can still see their faces.

I'm glad he finally gets it and she accepted his apology but.... dude.... after lying as Leon, then you lie about William, idk if that's a habit you want to nurture.
So it's okay as long as he gets to be with her? What's he learning now that's good for his prince-hood anyway? The Baron isn't doing a very good job as his mentor about this lying thing (considering he's also blinded by love and would do anything to be with Mildred).
I can't wait for Iris to find out about William XD Please smack him in the head Iris.

Is the only non-lying guy the man who's interested in the drawing sister (can't believe I forgot her name!)
Too bad he was pretty 'dumb' too XD This country is screwed.

It'd be quite heartbreaking for everyone 😔
But I do hope something different happens this time. Or at least have the curse/disease(?) get explained at some point.

But how can he understand, when she doesn't say anything? And when he finally gives her time, she didn't use that chance.
I think this arc is more for the wife to learn how to share her feelings, because we see things from her pov. She's the accommodating type, which tend to hold back like this. Maybe it's a Japanese thing, too, having to be polite and not inconvenience others.
I do agree that he should've discussed it with his wife first. Even if it's for "his" work. You're married now, sir. You're responsible for 2 lives, not just you.

Eh, they're new to this relationship, still need to learn to communicate. They both want to make the marriage work, so it'll be fine.
I like that they're showing how problems common in a relationship and how they'll solve it. These two are so adorably awkward, can't help but root for them.

I kinda forgot, why can't/won't he confess to her? Coz she hates men? He doesn't think he's worthy of her? That sort of stuff?
I can see them withholding being official until they finish college so they don't distract each other. They seem like that serious type. But then maybe one of them is like "the hell with holding back. Let's support each other as a lover! Go out with me!"

Thank God it's a happy end! I'm so glad she changed.
To those of you who's stuck in a toxic environment and are slowly losing sight of your aspiration, keep up the good fight. Take a breather. Good luck.

PS: in my own experience, I didn't have the grit to change and adapt, so I left instead and took the easy route. But that's because I didn't have #1 and #3 in that particular field of work.

The real world drinks coffee from an animal's poop (kopi luwak). So, eating chocolate-flavored vomit of a monster....shouldn't be too far of a stretch XD

Reading stories like this... makes me wish my country's president also care about its people and actually punish the corrupt officials. This is why we read fiction. To escape from reality! Yay!

Are we going to do another backstory? -_-
Is it bad that I kinda... don't care at this point?
Or is it needed so that our heroes get fueled by the power of anger, revenge, friendship type thing?

Sidenote, as much as I want him to be defeated... I kinda see his point, After all that he's endured, to be told he's useless and dangerous (maybe)... I'd be pissed too.
