I'm sorry if I sounded harsh in any way from my previous reply.
But no, he's just another Brock.
Kinda like "A Side Character's Love Story" (if you haven't read that already).
Horimiya has a love triangle for the side characters, Yuki and Sakura and that guy, who liked Hori for a bit (which is sorta love triangle between Miya and Hori but not really).
They also had School festivals but it was more sport festival, where Miya was all like "wow, I never had fun like this before" ...
Wasn't there also a time when Hori was painting something for a festival, and a guy lend her his jacket and Miya was all, "use mine instead". That was sort of preparing for a festival.
It doesn't do slow burn though. But the whole concept of Hori is secretly a no make-up girl at home who got found out by Miya kinda got blown away as soon as it started.
She never stopped being Hori in public, nor did she show Yuki her home life self (an appearance that Yuki didn't recognize when Hori was out ONCE).
So no, Horimiya isn't like this XD
I do think Horimiya is more school days, comedy while this one is more drama slice-of-life.
She gave it to him last time they went to the hot springs trip.
If their commonality is just liking whiskey and wine then.. well, good luck, I guess. Hope they have more things in common than things she has to put up with.
But yeah, I do hope the fucking up is going to be satisfying... can't wait!
I don't mind seeing Ashley get kidnapped just so we can have a bit more of danger and our heroine being smart in finding where he kidnapped her to. She could've taken the reigns on the carriage and rush out like a madwoman. Or get on the horse and leave the carriage with the Baron chasing with another horse. Just so they can arrive in the nick of time. It'd be much more badass than getting helped by a OP fairy. She didn't even seen to be dizzy (yet). At least make her puke and disoriented a bit, so there's consequences to this cheat power.
Reminds me of the Villainess Hourglass something, where the actual villain pushed her own father down the stairs to pin the blame on the MC, only to have the prince come and teleport her away, so villain couldn't frame her, and was blamed for hurting the father since she was the only one there. People also don't believe that the prince or any humans have powers. Tbf, she was the one who pushed her dad, but I wanted to see how MC uses her smartness out of there; especially since she was the 'daughter of a prostitute'. The odds would be against her.
But yeah, this just erases any future stakes since we have Baron to save the day. Then, again, Webtoons like this always fall to this cliche of OP man willing to do anything for woman so, what else is new? XD
I do hope they'll solve this soon. So far, they've no problems communicating though... eventually.
I guess it goes to show that she didn't love him in the first place. She only wanted to get married so she can quit her job. She even admitted that she pretended not to notice that he was having issues with his job, meanwhile, he supported her and bought her a bag.
I also don't like the conclusion that she got from it. It's like she still hasn't found out what's important: Work life vs personal life.
So what was the conclusion of the research? What are they gonna do with the research?!?! What about those that are gay? They can't create deep connections with women because they're gay! Are they gonna try to "fix" them??
They're gonna "force" people to fall in love? But, weren't some of these choices and events things she wouldn't have otherwise done? So one partner is gonna be forced to alter themselves just to make them fall in love??
And what's to say that after being together, they won't break up because of some other problems?! Being in love isn't always a happy ending like in manga!
If she's destined to meet the four of them anyway, and she could create a way to fall in love with either of them, then... why make her capture all targets?
It's not like she's split into 4 and can end up with all 4 guys who weren't gonna fall in love otherwise.
One of them is still going to end up alone because there's only 1 of her!
What the hell??? The future is dumb. They better have more explanation on the next chapter.
And what's with the navigator senpai, suddenly going all "boohoo, too bad, I'll never be able to fall in love with you because I'm from the future" out of nowhere.
Well, maybe you should've spent more time fixing your issue and look for love in your own timeline, you dick. Don't suddenly make me pity you. It's your choice! Don't expect a girl to fix your issue and then victimize yourself saying things as if she's the only chosen one ever to break through his heart. She was forced to follow your route in the first place!! Of course, she had to "fix" you. It's to win the game. Not because she actually cares (sort of, but like, she liked Kyouya already).
....I shouldn't be this upset. I'm reading this for free. It's okay... I've only lost my time reading this series... thank you for translating it.
We spent time with blonde girl already anyway, so that would probably go on the back at a slower pace.
Isn't this the first time we've ever heard about the parents from our main couple??
But what is this looming concern... Is the guy going to blackmail or something? "I know who you are, if you don't want this to be spread,
go spread your le"actually I kinda forgot who Enokida Jou is. I assumed it was the dude who flirted with his crossdressing friend buut I could be wrong. Too lazy to go back and find XDHe was talking about his old company, so it could be someone from there. "Is this you??"-ing him.
Finally, he can't even keep his words!! They made a deal if she wins, he'll stop proposing. He is slammed face down. That seems like a win for her, yet he's saying "let me challenge you again."??
No wonder Lucia is useless in a fight. Brother probably doesn't allow her to be useful outside of being a pawn.
