I literally reread the thing, kid. Just because your attention deficit disorder is so bad that this sort of event skip is a daily occurrence for you doesn’t mean the rest of us aren’t capable of keeping track of events and wondering wtf they were thinking.

It’s not a well planned one, though, is the point. It’s one thing to wrap up events for a season and then timeskip in the new one. Ending a season in the middle of a battle and then just timeskipping past the end of it is terrible writing, even without considering the effect on people reading through the whole thing later on and not having to wait before moving to the next page.
