The story is funny if you’re a real gamer. Lots of old MMO gags that the mobile gaming kiddos won’t even notice, much less get.
MC is taking his sweet time figuring out even the basics of mage craft, but that makes sense because he didn’t want to play a mage to begin with. Of course it’s gonna grow on him slowly as he realizes how to weave it into his martial arts.
The only really valid complaint I’ve seen is that the translation randomly goes from “eh” to trash every so often. Google could do better… nowadays. Pretty sure they used an early version of it. 🤣

Sure he doesn’t. 😎
But keep in mind the specific words of the curse, of the fact that when she first accidentally changed him back she had no idea what his face looked like, and also of the fact that he didn’t change back that very first night when she uttered that infamous line right after “we have a problem,” because what led to that was way more intimate than just a peck on the snoot.
Sex ain’t love. Random kisses ain’t love. But she had grown genuinely fond of Duke Fluffykins Von Goodboy by the time he changed back, or he never would have.
If he’d just stop pestering her with bs and give her the time he promised, she’d eventually realize she was wrong about her own feelings, as so many people so often are. That bit about creeping into her heart anyway wasn’t a lie, it was a Freudian slip revealing the truth she’s buried under her clearly mistaken notion that she can’t possibly care about anyone else after her history.
She needs time to get her head out of her own way. He needs to stop lurching from extreme positions and actually do what he promised. Or they’re both doomed, him to fluffyness, her to isolated misery.
Both of them need to drop the notion that you can just stop caring about someone “because you decided to so there it’s done.” It never works like that. Even when the entity you care about doesn’t even exist outside of fiction, we care about what we care about and carry it with us.
