I don't understand why I like reading it so much.
The pace is way too fast, the lore is a mess, the powerscaling is completely broken, rules are created and ignored in the same chapter... but I still enjoy this somehow...

After that god-awful useless flashback, this ended fairly quickly... but now the author goes for the blatantly obvious cliffhanger.
He is either trying to piss off his readers, or he is losing readers at a fast pace, and is trying anything to keep retention up.

I'm still wondering something.
Is it a curse?
Is the MC cursed?

Because when he isn't in Evil-Face-Mode, he doesn't seem THAT ugly, but still everybody seems to be utterly disgusted by his face.
Sooo, was he actually cursed and the face everybody sees is not the same face depicted in these drawings?
Or was the artist a bit lazy making his design, and his appearance is supposed to be ugly, by using our imagination or something?

Completely useless. Their full might did fuck all, and they just became hostages...
I really don't like this story arc. I preferred when Enisha had to calm down the Imperial family from going berserk, try to mend relationship with other countries, manage her absurdly excessive fame, sort her feelings for her Prince Charming and attempt to live a "normal life" despite all of this.

Soooo.
The admiral ignored direct orders, caused the death of thousand and put the victory in jeopardy...
But because he cried, he doesn't get ANY punishment?

Yep, I was really on the edge, but I think it's time to go for greener pastures.

I don't see how that's relevant, but I went up to ELO 2100 a few years ago.
I don't play much anymore, but I still like watching Meijin matches from time to time.

But you can still enjoy watching high-level players even if you're not that good at go... like with Chess, Football, or League of Legends...

This is so boring.
They've spent the last few chapters going "huh?!?", "What?!?", "What's going on?!?", "Who?!?".

The point of this story is the revenge of an all powerful being against lesser beings that unjustly grouped up to take him down.
He is supposed to be pretty much two or three steps ahead of his enemies, but he is now ALWAYS a lot being instead.

This makes this story incredibly generic and boring.
I think I'll let this brew for a bit alone, in my "on hold" list, and check back if there's anything interesting happening in a year or so.

I somehow forgot that the MC is an actual genius.
Losing at GO on purpose is hard, winning can be harder.... but creating a stalemate against a brilliant strategist is just incredible.
