This is a pretty good translation, it look fine to me, especially compared to the shitshow that was the one before...

One panel he is super cocky and confident, like:
"Hehe, he is the strongest hunter ever in terms of pure strength. I also know his skills by heart, their effects and power levels and all. His weapon is stronger than unique type weapons."
Next panel, he has the Pikachu surprised face:
"OMG, he can actually use skills?!? OMG, he is strong?!? OMG, my rare rank daggers are losing in terms of durability to his scythe?!?"

This level of inconsistency is kinda meh...

Killing them would be deemed unjust, but also could be considered mercy.
Letting them live and leaving them alone to fend for themselves is worst that killing them.
They suffered, simmering in their hatred and anger for decades. They also caused a lot of misfortune, death and pain for others, which would also be at least partially Hu Gong's responsibility.

That's easily the worst thing we know he has done up till now.

Yeah, let's add useless chapters in a story that has been going for 4 years with 45 total chapters.
The suspense was already built. Last chapter, a pretty important character lost an arm and we knew the mercenaries were from Japan, so we are at the same exact point now, nothing was added, nothing was removed.
Maybe when your workflow makes you release ONE chapter every 2 months, maybe don't waste your reader's time and attention any more...

I feel like the fun sense of adventure and discovery is completely gone from this story.
This is boring to me, I hope it goes back to its roots a little...

The timid girl that was stuck in a kindergarten's mindset, thinking that being rude was showing affection, and regretting it every time.
OK, why not, still redeemable.
The girl stuck playing the role of the mean maid because she thought that's what the MC wanted.
Not as redeemable, but still, she was doing for him, not for herself...

But I'm sorry, the ex-girlfriend who broke up with him directly, clearly enjoys fucking up every attempts and efforts the MC makes to re-establish basic communication, and, worst of all, who seems really possessive, getting pissing seeing HER EX THAT SHE BROKE UP WITH with other girl, meanwhile keeping a constant posse of 5+ men around her.
She can get fucked. I don't see any way for her to actually not be selfish as hell.

I'm really curious how the author will try to twist this to make her "selfless". That might be a make or break moment for me.

Yep, you are right about Hua, that wouldn't be a Clan, I concur.
But Tang is pretty much a Clan. It's actually one of the 5 Great Clans. I'm pretty sure the leader position is hereditary, and the family name is actually the name of the Clan.

Also, the nomenclature really depends on each and every authors, but:
- Sects are usually the group of people around the a single purpose, religion, family or martial art.
- Schools are usually centering around a martial art and way more meritocratic.
- Clans are centered around a single family, and leaders are selected from the main family.
Meaning, all Clans and Schools are also Sects, but Clans and Schools are opposites.

So yeah, I could have used "Sect" for both, or should have used school for Hua.

This manga, man... I swear, it takes all the clichés and just spits on them.
That was probably one of the best confession and result I've seen in a while... maybe even ever.

This story is getting a strange rhythm.
Like, the chapters go like this for me:
Meh; Meh; Good; Good; Don't care; really don't care; don't care so much it's pissing me off; meh again; ...
We are currently in the "Don't care" part, this will get tedious to read, I guess.

Now I know what this makes me feel.
This BS story is like watching the movie Ocean's 11, watching the whole building the team, then the research, then the preparation for the heist, the training and the team banter. Then, just right before the heist starts, the police miraculously raids their safe-house, kills two-thirds of the team, and tries to arrest the rest. The rest of the runtime is spent with the team improvising a shit plan that gets thwarted by the bad guy at every step.

This is really really really unsatisfying.

So, there are kinda 2 love interests.
One from his clan, utterly uninterested in anything mundane, obsessed with martial arts. She doesn't love him, but finds his combat skills mesmerizing.
The other from the Tang clan, completely devoid of any feeling of love, embracing practicality to a deviant degree. She wants him for the freedom he'll get her, and nothing else.

This is actually kinda perfect for this story.
I feel like he will see potential in her in martial arts, and maybe kinda train her with the skills his friend taught him in his previous life. Like, secret Tang clan skills.

I feel like the author went so far up his ass that the story lost all meaning.
I was so invested before, but I really can't care less now.

For the sake of my completionist mind, I hope this story ends soon.
