He might freeze and possibly die, or just absolutely 100% die for sure if not used.
I get that the MC was surprised, but that's the dumbest choice he made since the start...
He isn't at their level yet, but he did get recognize as strong by the strongest entity ever, and not too far off to the legendary patriarch that dominated the world.
If he struggles against any one person now, in terms of power, that would be BS.
I hope the author puts forth other issues, like political troubles or the fact that he is still only one person and might have trouble again many.
Please don't suddenly introduce someone stronger out of nowhere...
I would add that there will be some kind of event right before the MC kills him, where the redhead manages to escape, to cause trouble later on.
I really hope he just dies, but that's a popular trope recently.
I hope this filler ends soon.
I was wrong in my comment from last chapter.
He really wants to build nukes.
I'm a bit sad that he decided to go this route, but I can't wait when he'll showcase the nuke to pretty much medieval people...
They never asked for the money, as it wasn't a debt, but an investment.
So you can't compound the interests, which would be the only way to get to this amount.
So, let's say the village is 100 years old, to be generous, that's a 100% interest rate annually. And the village isn't 100 yo, the old dude was clearly present when it was created.
No contract, no initial arrangement, no proof, nothing.
Also, it was clearly stated that the investment gives access to part of the profit, not the whole shebang.
I'm wondering what would be the consequences if the village defaulted on the debt... like, violence? If so, and if I was the MC, I would probably instill fear so that they don't get any funny ideas...
They make money playing this game, right?
Like, a fairly big amount, if I'm not mistaken.
So why is the MC still acting like he's poor?
He is the biggest streamer on the most popular game, right? He should be swimming in money by now, no?
Did I miss or forget something?!?
That would make the witches quickly obsolete for war, energy, warmth, light, some medical applications, ... and the implication of nuclear warfare isn't really a good thing.
Also, uranium or plutonium aren't really found in big chunks like shown in this chapter, at least not on Earth's surface.
Copper would burn green...
Aluminium would be pretty good for the future, tungsten too... or titanium, but they have nothing to do with green.
Coal, copper, aluminium and steel are probably the best things one could find to induce an industrial revolution, I think... but I can't remember what type of materials the MC is already using.
I'm guessing the green is actually the witch's powers.
I hope next chapter shows that constellation getting kicked out by the system... if not, the rules of this world are just... shit.
Don't establish rules in your fictional world if you then go and ignore them for the most insipid reason...
A chapter full of only teaser, cliffhanger and probably situations that "aren't what they seem to be"...
What a waste of time.
She apparently consult heavily with actual doctors tho. No official information about said doctors were made public, but there's rumors that it could be the whole Tokyo U Hospital...
I think that's one of the things that makes this story incredible, and above the rest of the medical manga/manwha.
Good.
I was upset when the MC just let the girl die, but they've acknowledged the mistake. Turning the mistake into characters development.
That's new.
I like this.
She really is Lloyd's only equal/superior.
Now, I really want to see Her reaction once his curse of ugliness is dispelled one day. She judged him only by his merits, skills, intentions and devotion up till now. It would be fun if it's revealed that he is actually fairly good looking without the curse.
What's for sure is that their QC (Dinger) is really bad at his job. Seeing the credits, that was actually his only job...
He's the Swords-master of the Kingdom now.
His status should be pretty much the same as the Mage's now.
How broken your mind must be to think that ruining that girl makes you the automatic winner...
I mean, wouldn't that make the MC even more pissed, and make sure he focuses 100% of his wrath solely on you?
How is that winning?!?
The said Royalty already attempted to kill him and other nobles of his country, not by following protocol and tradition, but by assassination.
Yeah, killing that mage would create issues, but the MC has enough reason to kill him legitimately, and ultimately, that would create less problems.
Breaking the propriety, using power and violence to threaten and inflict fear on the mage, and verbally menacing him in front of witnesses isn't something that would be acceptable either, and would probably lead to war anyways.
If war is bound to happen either ways, killing the most destructing weapon, best strategist and also the General of the enemy's army would be a pretty good move, actually.
Someone who has mind-controlled multiple woman and is effectively graping them all the time.
A tyrant who kills and steals and grapes and destroy.
What a wonderful hero he is.
It's like the trolley problem, but on the side where the trolley is originally going, there's thousands of people, on the other side there's only one person, and that's actually Hitler.
Inaction can become the worst evil.
But tell me, do you think the fight we just saw would have been any different, at all, if it happened before his training montage? No, it would have been the exact same.
Which make me wonder, what was the point of that training then? What in the world convinced the super strong tribe to give the MC magic deus ex blood after this pitiful display of cockiness and weakness?
I'm just sad about the missed opportunities, not the whole story. It's not ruined for me yet.
Now, if the magic blood makes the MC so strong that all the training we went through becomes meaningless, that would piss me off a bit...
They don't order THE BATTLE KINGS by strength... but ordinary brothers and sisters are definitely weaker. But you're right that he is not the weakest because they mentioned that the first Battle King doesn't like the MC, and would chose a tough opponent...
I wasn't expecting him to flat out win, but at least struggle a bit. He not only couldn't do shit, he wasn't even able to comprehend what was happening..
They've shown us months of hard training and character development, but at the end of the day, it was for nothing... hard work is for chumps, let's just dope the MC with special deus ex machina blood.
I'll even wager, from what was shown in this chapter, that when the MC is done with his training with the strongest people on the planet, he'll get accepted as one of the strong too... but immediately meet someone stronger as soon as he goes back to the "real world"... which should be impossible...
