Like the MC was thinking in this chapter, it's mostly for survival. He needs a lot of strong people to oppose what is about to happen to the Cult.
He needs anyone who would join the opposition dead, and everybody else alive, well, and strong.
They don't seem to consider Humans as inferiors, they were victims of the war too but still trying to make amends for something they weren't even responsible of, and they seem to actively try to better themselves...
Of course, some individuals are irredeemable, but that's the case for all the races...That's not a red Dragons' problem, but a individual one.
I'm getting suspicious that the one who killed the mom might be a black Dragon...
She just gained a huge advantage on the Elf commander.
Also, is it me or does the MC seem to like dying more and more. Well, not dying itself, more the thrill of it.
I'm guessing Charon is getting a bit fearful that the MC will actually never give up now...
Davey being manipulated with no clue of it is really fun for me. And the consequence is getting married, not losing an important friend.
I like this. Nice change of pace.
I mean, they don't persecute the weakest, but their methods... and they are really strong, so they are still persecuting "weaker" people.
Makes it funny, and at least, they aren't hypocrites.
Also, I was sooooo expecting a message like "end of season, story will be on hiatus for 7 months" at the end there.
Thank god it didn't happen, I would have to drop this if the author blue-balled us this much.
This story is pretty much a feel good story, no unnecessary drama for no reasons.
But so many death flags were raised that I can't stop being worried.
I don't know why the MC is fighting it, he WILL marry her, it's been clear since we first saw her, so many chapters ago.
Then, I was like "Damn, he is being pursued by the most dangerous women of the world"
Now, I'm like "Damn, he has apocalypse-level yandere after him"
Still jealous, but that's probably the most dangerous event the MC will have to face.
- "Is your name Hans, Hansy, Hannes, Hansel, or something similar?"
- "No."
- "Welcome."
They release weekly high quality full color 50 pages chapters... when mangaka do 7 black and white page a month, and still complain...
No wonder they all get sick or hurt... they should do shorter seasons, or get like a week of relaxing every two months...
You can't ignore everything that would break the status quo or makes you uncomfortable forever... or you'll end up alone...
Glad she starting to grasp her actual situation here, it seems.
I was soooo sure the MC would make a "Goku" remark upon arriving late without a good reason, and he did exactly that.
"Sorry I'm a bit late"... yeah, fuck you, you knew the exact time to come back, to save the actual world, and you're "fashionably" late.
Dumbass.
I mean, his direct actions pretty much destroyed the allies of his son, forced his son into exile, gave more power and restored his worst enemies' reputation, was the reason the last hope to make the Zipple at least descent got kidnapped and brainwashed again, and just proved to the world that the Runcandel aren't that big a deal.
Way to go Patriarch! You're probably the worst leader this family ever had!
I don't know what game he is playing at, but it seems to me that it's the dumbest brain-dead move ever. Not doing anything would have been better...
"Yeah, he is doing so to give the role of main flag-bearer to his son", or whatever bullshit excuse will come later won't cut it. Who the fuck would want to lead this shitty family.
I hope the MC never becomes the Patriarch, but just dissolves or destroys the family instead.
But maybe don't keep opening more plot intrigue while closing none ever.
This story is getting a bit messy for my taste, I would like the author to resolve some plot points soon-ish...
Up till now, the arcs of this story were well defined, and most plot points where resolved before going to the next arc... I have a feeling that the School Arc will leave the story in a shit state...
Especially when you had trouble fighting the monsters 2v1...
I know she thinks they might have broken the "peace" of the forest, or whatever, but I'm pretty sure anyone with two functioning brain cells might understand that if those "demi-gods" have bad intention, they could kill you like just by sneezing in your general direction... maybe don't try to actively antagonize them?
And she seems like an instructor or someone with a higher position... I hope not, or this new civilization might be dumb as shit.
I don't care about the MC's fight, like, at all... but I'm really interested on what is happening on the war front.
It's usually the opposite for me. Strange.
Just finish the story already, I can see the end of the tunnel, I hope they don't stretch this any longer than needed... it's already a pretty meh story, don't go making it just plain shit...
She seems to genuinely be new to this now...
Even the greedy but intelligent noble.
I'm so hyped.
