    Sad but true in a way.
    You can say all you want about witch hunts and big targets, but at the end of the day the most crucial requirement is just a matter of how people see you.
    And sadly not handling that part yourself leaves a window open for all kind of mishandling by others.

      No what's crucial is how people experience you. Lucy literally petrified most the school & nearly killed at least one. They'll keep writing her character as cute, but like, she's a villain for a reason too. Just not to Ed.

  maybe just heal her after the final battle of chapter 3 is over.
  I am worried that if he keep on unterfering with Taylor's battle, Taylor won't have enough exp to do the later plot.
  Or maybe that is a good thing, because Ed will need to do the main character's job

We get to see here exactly why harems don't really work in the western world. Do they really want to share by choice? Maybe if all the available men have been killed off, sharing might seem necessary. A few more years of Putin and Russia will be full of harems.

Usually with harems, i've picked out a favourite girl by now and am actively rooting for her.
The problem i've discovered, both with this and I Killed An Academy Player, is that either the writing or character design is so far above what i'm used to, I literally CAN'T pick one.
Lucy is sweet cat, Janica is happy dog and... I haven't really got an animal comparison for (is her name lortelle?) the rich girl.

  P.S. You're not using the harems right. The whole point of such degeneracy is to NOT make people pick.
  That said this particular case has too much catfighting for a typical harem, especially for the current number of active girls.
  Feels more like a love triangle than than like the usual degeneracy.
