You could benefit from giving this manhwa another chance, it starts weak/generic out of necessity, your unknowingness and hostility is what people are downvoting you and the other one for, not your strange assumption as to why.

It starts off generic in order to apply satire and allow MC to grow from a lazy idolization obsessed bastard to a very likeable character, anyone who didn't read far enough (like you) is more than likely actually losing out. There's a reason people praise this as the peak that it very frankly is.

I didn't seen much explanation but what I assumed is: trained horned hybrid (future John) > berserk horned hybrid (past John) ≥ trained generic hybrid (Pano) > slacker horned hybrid (John) > horned alien > trained human (Alda) ≥ slacker generic hybrid (cultists) > generic alien
My rather silly assumption is that every hybrid is 10% or less of their max potential to start with with that potential itself able to grow (likely slowly) through further mutation and training.
The slacker generics have nothing on Pano who was pushing her limits from the beginning of her transformation, the cultists hybrids were busy overpowering human beings and feeling superior due to their religion.

I got to chap 47 and am now temporarily dropping reading this, MC's density is contrived (she has modern world life knowledge and used to read romance novels, smh) and frankly annoying to me, maybe if there were only two male love interests I could see it but there's over three, this phenomena is why a lot of harem stories lose my interest.

Perhaps I misunderstood, but in a previous chapter the demon mentioned something about MC's memory being blocked, and then while pointing her finger or something those memories of his started flooding back, I honestly think it's entirely her fault he was "chillin'", notice how MC thought his childhood friend was just a shut-in and then questioned why he didn't think about all the suffering she went through.

So yeah, either I misunderstood and everyone's outrage is well placed, or everyone else misunderstood and the story's actually fine just maybe not perfectly translated.

Maybe it'll get a happy ending in one of the next loops?? Yay!

Probably, he used his unhappy feelings as a cover to save his leader, which is interesting. It's quite likeable that he has that but puts it aside for his loyalty and bonds, he's a real human-like character.
