The audiobook for this series is absolutely fantastic, I can't recommend it enough.

Excellent. I said it before these types of parodies get stale quick and the author actually had the wherewithal to end it while it's still a hilarious and sweet story. We need more of these mini stories in the asian comic scene. Too many mangas and manhwas that don't know when to end a story and lose their appeal because of it.

I agree, feels like the story has been dragging for a solid 15-20 chapters now. It's just do mission -> "this guy doesn't seem strong initially but he is the real deal" -> talk to power titty girl(forget her name) and Elena when he gets back -> rinse and repeat.

They would've stopped producing the "3d sht" a long time ago if it was so "disgustingly" perceived by the masses. People like to call 3d rendering lazy and cheap but it's a lot of work unless you reuse a shit ton of assets. Berserk 2011 by same studio has 7.7 and 7.9 for memorial edition for MAL, 7.5 on IMDB, 78% on Rotten Tomatoes, 4.9/5 on Crunchyroll.

I'll play devils advocate to the other guy who replied, ToG turns to crap after they leave a certain train. The author has no idea where to take the story or what the main character and his close allies' powers really are. It heavily drags with one arc being like 200 chapters introducing a new character every 3 panels. The author didn't know the direction in the beginning but struck gold with season 2 and then it starts to become an extremely generic magical murim manhua after that. The only reason this spin off exists is because Siu has lost the plot.

I've been reading since the beginning. IT'S BEEN 15 YEARS and we barely know anything about the families save the one involved in the latest season. I was a teen when this started and now have a family and children and the story has barely progressed.

Surprised this manga is not currently being scanlated as it's by the author of Beelzebub which was extremely popular when it was published and this one seems pretty good as well. Raws at chapter 27.

Artist has a knack for illustration but can't seem to stop ripping off other works. His other series Cambria is an obvious knock off of HxH and Toriko and this manga is literally just Chainsaw Man and Tokyo Ghoul mashed together.

No disrespect but this series is just your typical murim manwha where literally anything is possible through magical martial arts with little to no explanation. I mean, why does the 2000 year old guy who has only been in their current time period for a couple of days know what an IQ test is in just this chapter alone... It's a fun read if you can turn your brain off, but it's not anything to write home about.
