It's a LN and webcomic adaptation, so it's probably just gonna have slow drawn out releases until it inevitably gets an anime adaptation.

It depends on what manga or LN you're reading.
I'd argue it's VERY easy early on to tell what the intent of a story is with the child raising. If the very blatant pages meant to appeal to lolicons didn't make it evident what this was gonna be about in chapter 1 to most then I think that's just a personal fault.

Getting disappointed and frustrated at what it was kinda clearly trying to do this far in the game is like driving all the way to a Steakhouse and complaining about the vegan options. You can only blame yourself at some point.

There's manga and LNs that don't make it clear for a very long time, which is fair, but it's usually very obvious. And I have like 4 to 5 bookmarked on-going ones that aren't grooming shit. It's kind of a skill issue if ya can't find em' ngl. Looking for burgers in a coal mine.

A lot of new age rom-coms develop to the dating phase really quickly, that this one feels almost sluggish by comparison. Even though this sort of episodic light developments are supposed to be the norm in slice of life race manga.
