check this manhwa out "Paranoid Mage" its a really fun read on magic and practical use off of it with a modern mindset. has 86 chapters or something. i enjoyed reading them alot. mc feels like he could be any one of us. except he is a little bit smarter and has lets say knowleadge that would have you on a certain list.

idk? honestly its been almost 2years since i made that comment i have no idea what i meant by that.

i know, i complained about this exact same issue earlier. how it made zero sense. that it takes this much and this long for mc who is said to be power leveling. when they want us to believe people who are much much much weaker that had higher levels than our mc. like getting to lvl40 for mc took 200 chapters and taking on many solo hell level diffeculty things. how are some mobs lvl70 then? they must have grinded for decades upon decades and not to mention lvl90 saints and lvl95+ gods they must have been in dungeons power leveling for centuries at least. which makes no sense. so i share your distate for the leveling system. even some very slow mmorpgs like wow, you can power level to 60 in like week or two if your super slow. not to mention others like runescape where you can get lvl99 (13m xp) in a single combat skill within like 20-30hrs with 600k-900k xp p/h. so if we compare this manhua which feels like it is based off of an mmorpg they failed horribly to copy the leveling system or incorprating off of it at least.
