A couple weeks back, I read a manga. …At least, I think it was a manga.
See, my Swiss-cheese, Alzheimer brain forgot 95% of what I read, the format, what it was called, the genre, whether it was colour...
I *think* it was an isekai manga and the ONLY bit I can actually remember is that the MC (a male) helped a guy who owns a foundry, possibly some kind of merchant, to run said foundry (because he had comparable magic to the foreman who was ill) through the backlog to make this special metal. He then went to said foreman's house, met his family and found out he had the isekai version of cancer. Then proceeded to cure him (or at least improve his prognosis) by cutting out the tumours while spamming heals.
If that sounds familiar to anyone, for the love of all that is holy, can you hit me up? I've been trying to find it for literal weeks. I've lost count of the number of arguments I've had with the various AI bots dotted around trying to "help".

This seemed to take a downturn ~190-200 mark. Not only because the TL kept changing which meant terms kept swapping (Stagnant Water becoming "seasoned vet" and/or "old guard" was particularly annoying), but the story, too.
At least, that's what I felt. Not sure if it has a LN or anything, so can't comment on if it had a longer plot that got edited to give an ending.
Shame.

Still not back to 100% but it's miles better than it was. Just a bit blurry now.
Still under orders to limit "use", though, so pirate jokes keep flying round when I'm wearing the eyepatch (and it isn't a cool Nick Fury type one, either. Just one of those fabric ones that have adhesive stuff on one side. Still annoyed about that.)
The holidays (what I could see of them) were fair to middling. Bit of family drama between Christmas and new year's, but apart from that, it all went well.
Still not started Nether Currency yet, either. It's still there, waiting for me.

Sorry for slow reply brother. Laid up with a massive eye infection and currently blind in one eye, so haven't been reading as much. Just in time for Christmas.
