It's pretty good. Takes a while to get invested. It's a time reset story. I'm currently waiting for the end of the arc/season to start reading again. Skelly has 3 potential waifus (one is a hot half-lich) and the final one hasn't even appeared. The story lives from the interactions, but half the time he is alone doing some batman stuff(SKULking, fighting bad guys in the shadow, monologing etc.)

Yeah I got that. Just saying there would be different rules for succession in that case and a mortal ruled kingdom is doomed to fail in a cultivator society. Clan structures are probably better for that. Even if there is favorism, talent still be nurtured and easier married in. The heavenly demon cult versions do a pretty good job uniting clans under a surpreme cultivator.
