"Imma fuck her coworkers."
Stellar logic, Watson.
She comes to the inn based on a rumor, she's put off entirely by the inn keeper's manner & behavior, she's introduced to a cheat of the world, and proceeds to be tortured repeatedly. In the space of four chapters, we only know her name, guess at her origin, and barely retain her objective. And then nothing else. Not if she's a kind individual, or a snobbish noble. Not if she has any active likes or dislikes. Not her personality—all of these take a back seat to the tsukkomi/boke dry execution between herself, and the meta-abusing psychopath who, in a bizarre bit of irony, isn't even training her correctly according to the tropes he should be engaging.
And sidebar to explain: Death states in most eastern RPGs are NOT necessary to "learn & grow* in those titles. In complete opposite of platformers, RPGs demand and encourage the player to take care in exploring, and try not to get you in over your head too often. And if they do, it's to teach you the gaming system or what areas to avoid until you can reliably overcome those challenges. Contrasted by platformers, where you DO actively learn from various deaths what not to do, what timing there is for a jump/run/slide/etc, what patterns enemy opponents have, and so on. Abuse of death as a learning/building mechanic fits the later far better than the former.
And so we have a girl main character who we can't be assed to care about, a strange teacher whose comedy routines aren't landing because they're about the wrong genre, some side characters who, as of ch 8, serve no other purpose than to acknowledge the teacher as sadistic and broken, and a setting that, like so many other isekai/fantasy/reincarnation stories, barely serves as more than simple window dressing.
tl;dr This is a no-calorie junk food waste of time and one is better off finding a story that has bite to it than this.
People writing these should be put to the wall.
