This reminds me of the US Military when they were forcing contract extensions by a fine-print subsection called stop-loss

If you are looking at star quality and not recognizing the trap, yes. The biggest reason to why MC fortress was so well off is because they had the ability to recruit outside forces. They looked at potential rather than rarity. A 1star is always able to become a 7star if they are worth it, but a 7 star who does nothing is worthless. In this way they didn't need to waste resources pulling from a limited supply as you can only summon from "your world" pool. Especially starting out you'd have to look at skills (inherent ability) AND skewed skill/level acquisition (potential).

CONCLUSION even 1% character can be trash. MC said himself he'd spend more than 5k to acquire his character

without knowing the fact that these are all real people from worlds that are collapsing yes I would trade. The problem is the world is filled with a limited number of people. Like the broken character that the MC chanced upon, some people have skill that is simply immeasurable until you give them a chance. Some people like Velkist are strong for sure, but without the MC to have sorted out that personality, getting them too early will just cause them to die because they refuse to use teamwork and get better. At times, raising a hero from 1 star will be better than a trashy personality hero picked up starting at 7 star. Like the bandit group that just wanted to kill newbies to assert dominance

the comment was more about the enlightenment, but yeah, other than reflecting on the past there isn't muscle recovery. IG mental recovery would be good though

went to read it, but it's not there.
Pacing on setup is incredibly hard to give critique for. Some people enjoy the super descriptive imagery of some stories while others like "hey this is bob, he goes to school" end of introduction.

As for pacing, think of ways to draw out a rise, but not to the point where you lose interest. Then hit a climax to resolve the issues you've set up through the conflicts. Usually they are brief, but not OHKO. Generally speaking, it causes disinterest. It should feel like as you proofread it you want to read faster and faster, until your beath can't keep up with saying it out loud, then you should end it. Your fall should have elements of the next rise but also be written in a calmer expression to leave readers still in the sense of euphoria of accomplishment.

Before you start writing you should brainstorm world rules, character personalities, plot, backstories, and think out the general of why such actions occurred. Really put yourself in each of the characters shoes and make decisions like: Snap with your arrogant self then reply to yourself in a passive aggressive manner. Don't just write a blog, make a world.

This is about all I can give advise for something I can't read... Good Luck
