Honestly, this is a gentle reminder of who Chainsaw man is: a little boy who is honestly a good person.

Note: Being horny doesn't make you a bad person -> unless you attack others and ruin their lives over it. Genji being horny is normal for his age.

Well, just in case I wasn't sold on it before, this is more of a comedy manhwa than anything else.

I do wanna take a moment to point out that her elder sister telling her to "abandon the idea of revenge" isn't a bad thing. Blindly acting for revenge/vengeance is self-destructive. The elder sister comes off as cruel or cold, but she does care for her - or else, she wouldn't be trying to give valid advice.

As for her, she is reckless. I hope she doesn't die again.

The author was like "What if Kirby, but more technical and scientific?" And then the author kept going and going and going and here we are.

It isn't a super long read and I do recommend it. Read the first chapter or two to figure out if this is for you. If it is, then you'll enjoy this because it comes with some interesting characters and twists and stuff. The mercilessness of Mr. Main Character is interesting because it isn't black and white.

8/10 - I'm not IGN.

Well, if you have an option between dealing with someone who is:
1) Honest but very brazen, shameless and in-your-face about things
vs
2) Lying and scheming while being silver tongued

It is annoying, but the former is much better company. As annoying as "annoying" can be, it ain't a knife in the back.

Well, I'm at the edge of my seat. In my impatience, I am tempted to read some of the garbage translations - which are around chapter 500.

Ya know, it is rare for someone to welcome monsters, who are massive danger that would slaughter dozens of humans, as a welcome alternative to "walking in the dark."

I love this manhwa.

Here's the interesting thing about this manhwa:

It juggled three plots at the same time, centered around Mr. Main Character.

The first plot is the struggle of a slave - brace yourself for anti-capitalism and anti-society moments. The biggest moment of this is fused with the third plot to soften the impact for both us and Mr. Main Character.
The second plot is the romance - honestly, it is poor quality but it makes sense. It makes sense because of the character's age and struggles. Also, it isn't complicated - just keep in mind how old they are and what kind of life they've lead, and it makes a lot more sense.

The third plot, finally, is the plot with demons trying to revive their demon lord or whatever - this is the most important one canonically but for the longest time, it feels like the least important to the manhwa. Sure it is the ultimate destination as to why all events are occurring, but it takes a lot of time to get introduced and a lot more time for it to be relevant.

I might be making it sound worse than it actually is, but it isn't that bad. A nice 6/10 - I'm not IGN so this isn't terrible -> as long as you keep in mind that Mr. Main Character is a kid. Not just a kid, but one who effectively had someone stomping on his face his entire life. I do not find him easy to relate to because I can't even imagine what that's like, but I can sympathize; also to mention I can't really imagine the turbulent state his mental health must be in.

Overall, if the beginning gets you hooked, then give it a chance. You will find moments where you're cheering for Mr. Main Character and other moments where you're like "what's wrong with this moron!?" So, there is some push and pull which isn't a bad thing.

Edit: Ya know, I read through more comments on people condemning this and I find it funny. "Mr. Main Character doesn't mature." This is just evidence that someone didn't read this freakin' manhwa. Him maturing is a major part of the plot and it is highlighted when he does NOT kill his half-brother and instead they make up -> which has a reverberating impact that lasts to the final chapter.

If you want a plot like Conan the Barbarian, then go freakin' rewatch Conan the Barbarian. Do not expect "Slave climbs the ranks through sheer GigaChadery power and eventually becomes king" because that plot is so boring and cliché that this manhwa actually has it. Yeah, it is for a different character who literally did it before Mr. Main Character was even born.

So... hold on, when/how did his phone get fixed?

Or was it just a screen protector all along - which got replaced?
