Ya know, I didn't even consider Hubris sacrificing his holy powers to revive Eris. Oh no.

So uh, causality\\ or whatever you're called, how in the world are you gonna fix the plot now? Hmmmmm?

Take a moment and think about the "falling down the stairs" - or more commonly known name "domino effect" - that happened due to this crown prince's stupid wish.

Be careful what you wish for, you might just get it.
And you'll never know what your wish will lead to.

Thinking about it...

One of the requirements was to kill Helena with that dagger when you *really REALLY* wanted to kill her... was it complete?

She still has the door underneath the bed.

Also, wowee... you're telling me this guy
this guy
THIS CREEP
is gonna sacrifice his holy powers to revive Helena? Not in this timeline. Principal of the world - or whatever it was called - has miserably failed to keep this story in order.

If you're desensitized to the concept of taking someone's life, to the concept of murder, then take a moment and remind yourself that it isn't easy. Murder is heavy and most works do not do it justice. You have one novel there where lives are being plucked like candy from a bowl - and another novel here where the value of human life is real.

Furthermore, and this is really important: they aren't enemies. Being kind to an enemy is cruelty unto yourself and your allies, but this ain't that. It really isn't.
You know what was that? When the crown prince attempted to rape her. That was justified self-defense and that caused her tremendous pain anyway because, and this is true: no matter what, murder is heavy.

As much as you can treat others as they're NPCs from a novel or game because you got isekai'd into it, there is a limit. You cannot keep interacting with them without them becoming human to you too... and to that point, you can't treat them as if NPCs anymore.

One of the things that stands out in Villainess works is that the story changes. The changes yield drastically different outcomes. The principal of causality, or whatever it is, in this work seems to prevent a drastic change... or has it? Because from what I can tell, none of the male leads are obsessed with Helena as they should be. For example: if you stab her, will the High Priest really revive her at the cost of all his powers?

The main reasons I keep reading this is
1) well, it's complete.
2) There is a sense of sorrow and despair built into this world that is represented so very carefully.

The missing piece of this puzzle is why Eris loved the Crown Prince.

Say what you like about this manhua-
"Thank you! I think I will! A bit too much dialogue for my taste, the plot takes a tad too long to build up, AND we haven't had an isekai in far too long"
but
say what you like about this manhua, at least stuff is happening in it, and it is a joy to behold!

Seeing how Denji was literally in pieces and look, he's fine -> that logic will most certainly apply to Natuya too.

Well, this was an incredibly short chapter.
Still, I called it, he dead.

"Never meet your heroes" is a popular saying.

Well, this manhwa certainly doesn't do a good job whatsoever when it comes to writing the villains as characters. "The baddies are bad" is about all they've accomplished. In its defense, not that it necessarily deserves a defense -> the baddies tend to die a lot and fairly quickly too.

lol. Yeah... It's both. Capitalism is the system we live under -> where making money is all that matters. Morals? Who cares about that? If they can get away with it, they'd tax us for BREATHING and it would be perfectly legal under capitalism.

So we have a system we live under... and we have the propaganda in this system to get us to want something. It isn't just diamonds but a ton of things. There are purses and shoes out there that are more expensive than my computer. Why? Propaganda under capitalism.
etc etc.

Starts off around a 8/10. Loses steam and drops to around a 5/10 by the time you finish it.
World building isn't very deep, but it does establish some interest.
Characters are written down hastily to set the scene, but not too hastily that it makes no sense.
The journey of the character has some stops and starts. The obvious one will keep you going for a while but that gets wrapped up -> and there's like 20 chapters left. It's moments like this when the quality drops.

I do recommend it if you're a fan of the Villainess genre.

Be aware of two things before going in:
1) this is perhaps the dumbest Villainess in the genre that I've read so far.
and 2) Shame it doesn't do more with action, as violence is a premium currency in this world and Ms. Main Character is FREAKIN' RICH!

Well, congratz on finishing it. I kept seeing you saying "I'm done!" lol

The amusement is in the journey. As whacky as it may be, a journey is still a journey. I think it's a shame they didn't focus more on the action as violence is a premium currency in this world and Ms. Main character is rich. lol

Like when on the board game, I wanted her to do a quick 180 when the old man walked past her -> and pull his heart out of his chest through his back.

Well, GGs.

I will say this again: this is the dumbest Villainess I've ever read while reading through this genre. If she was in another story where brute force isn't the premium currency, she wouldn't have survived.

hmmm. I'd give it a meh score, like, 5/10. If you like the genre, read it. It starts off strong, weakens, and then eventually ends. No wholesome bonus fanservice chapters of a happy life.

The power to read minds is useful, but cannot create miracles where you're gonna lose no matter what.

It's a testament to how horrible the father was -> that these kids are just murdering each other like this. There is zero chance they'll ever go back to being siblings, huh?

hmmm, I sure wish there was less talking and more doing. This Ms. Main Character has been established to be really dumb compared to the usual Villainess, and yet she babbles on and on.
