WHY is she trolling him? She has no one but herself to blame for just how fascinated he is with her. A push and pull like this will squarely land onto the extremes. In this case, he extremely loves her.

Jeffrey with his memories walked the fine line between:
loyal friend with unrequited love
vs
yandere with unrequited love

without his memories, he's tripping over himself and it's SCARY

I didn't really intend to start political discourse. I just hate cigarettes because I have family members - close and distant - who smoked and smoked and smoked until... things happened... and some family members continue to smoke anyway. It is a miserable addiction... so I have incredible hatred to smoking and tobacco.

But on the subject of slavery, the 13th amendment literally has an exception built into it: "except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted." This is something that really shouldn't have ever had an exception... yet here we are.

Well, weed was illegalized in the Nixon era as a way to take racism-fueled anger against minorities -> and put them to action. "The war on drugs" as they called it... It is more accurate to call it "the war on minorities."
Also see "mandatory minimums" for more details on how they made absolutely sure they were ruining people's lives.

EXPLOSIONS! Not exactly good synergy with Mr. Main Character and his darkness + ice powers... but explosions are explosions.

I felt that this chapter is shorter than usual.
Guo suffering is kinda good. I'm not particularly happy that his kid died though. Maybe he can be saved? Who knows.

I think it's safe to say, as long as this fake Morro is alive, Mr. Main Character does have a thorn in his side, but he can still go around and cause trouble in his name, to an extent -> and get away with it.

Thing is about these court cases is that there were multiple judges presiding over the case. Specifically, in the first court case mentioned here in Australia's highest court, all but one judge were like "tobacco, you're being stupid. Cease and desist." There were 7 judges in this particular case.
So, one judge was corrupt enough to side with Big Tobacco. These companies quoted him -> and attacked small countries, like Uruguay. Uruguay also did public health measures against the literal toxicity of tobacco.

Oh it keeps going because in 2013, Togo got sued by PMI. Togo is an even tinier country than Uruguay and they were trying some public health measures against smoking. Fun facts about Togo: it is one of the top 10 poorest countries on Earth; also, 40% of Togo's adult population is illiterate. PMI has a net revenue of 80 billion -> and PMI sued Togo which has a GDP of 4.3 billion (2013 numbers).
Remember that corrupt judge? They cited his corrupt lines to scare Togo into obedience. Togo can't afford to fight this stupid legal battle. It's a risk they literally can't afford and they stopped the public health measure. 60% of smokers in Togo wanted this, btw.

Two more, because I'm tired, BAT sent similar threats to Namibia, the Solomon Islands (which has a population of like 600,000).

In short: big tobacco are monsters.

Big Cigarettes = Big Tobacco = five biggest companies, which are: "British American Tobacco," "Japan Tobacco International," "Philip Morris International," "Imperial (Tobacco) Brands," and "China National Tobacco Company."
To me, all five of these companies are monsters in their own right who deserve to be destroyed for terrorizing the entire human race.

Back in 2011, Australia passed a law requiring cigarette boxes to have drab coloring, a picture showing something horrible (like a diseased lung) and a message that says "Smoking kills" on it. This obviously worked and cigarette sales drooooooooopped. Big Tobacco sued Australia in their highest court and they LOST HORRIBLY! GET WRECKED BIG TOBACOO! The judges called their case "delusive," "unreal and synthetic," and "had fatal defects." Big Tobacco had to cover the court costs too!

Upset with this result, Big Tobacco took the entire Australian Government to International Court. A freakin' company was able to sue a literal country over a public health measure through international court. How? PMI moved to Hong Kong to dance around some law from 1993 that states that Australia can't seize Hong Kong-based company property. Yeah... Anyway, they lost that too.
They didn't stop there. Again, these guys are monsters. Sorry if you expected a shorter story, but jeez... Big Tobacco posed as three governments, namely Ukraine, Honduras, and the Dominican Republic filed complaints with the World Trade Organization on Australia. This came to surprise to members of parliament, especially in Ukraine as they have ZERO trade with Australia. ZERO.

Artist, author; potato, potato. You know what I mean so quit being a jerk. No one will praise you for doing this nonsense unless you're in a professional setting - and even then, only when it really matters.

Furthermore, he tried. He's contractually obligated to finish this story and that's where we are. It sucks that is what happened because I'm still amused by this story.

Fun fact, in some places in the world, they do sell them individually. These places are in third world countries where a large percent of the population is illiterate... and usually right outside schools. They have a lighter on a string so students can light the cigarette they just bought. If you're thinking "that's terrible!" then yes! You've understood why I bought this up! "Big Cigarette" companies are predatory monsters who literally sued a country because the country was trying to ban cigarettes. I wish I was joking.

Also, I totally got jump-scared with how she was suddenly smoking.

I'mma be honest for a moment and tell you that I sometimes imagine that I'm Vergil from DMC - 3 or 5 since I never played 4 -> and I pretend that I go on a rampage and destroy literal armies and TAKE OVER THE WORLD!
It's a childish bit of daydreaming... but that's just it: daydreaming.

In real life, no one can just simply be bulletproof, explosion-proof, etc to even attempt to be a one man army to take out leaders and their armies.

Meanwhile, look at Mr. Main Character here: he's practically unstoppable. You think an army would present anything more than just some target practice for him? In what way could any of them pose a threat whatsoever? The most dangerous thing they can do is threaten the people he cares about - the people weaker than. Why? Because they can't do anything to him.
So in this situation, if he just starts slaughtering them all, he could very much permanently solve the issue where they could threaten the people he cares for.

They're so desperate to keep him out - oh they know how dangerous he is. They absolutely know and they don't even wanna take that chance. They still failed, so get wrecked!

For what it is worth, I started reading this manhwa around the time it started. It was a cute little thing I picked up in my college days... that was around a long time ago...

If there is a problem with this manhwa, it would be that:
1) There isn't much of an overall plot. It just starts and you get to see the journey of the main character.
2) While it was a spectacle and something new/fresh back around 13 years ago, the whole "Real Life mixing with Video Game logic" isn't anything uncommon at all nowadays.
I will take a moment to say, this manhwa is perhaps one of the originators of the "gamer's mind" passive that pops up in other works - that helps the character's mental state to remain calm and stuff.

On the positive side of things:
1) Some characters have a good amount of depth to them. You won't particularly be able to expect what the author will do with characters - including villains.
2) The journey is long - as you can see, it is over 500 chapters - but it is varied. If there is a consistent element: power gaining. Not just leveling up, but doing feats and stuff.
3) The power level of the main character is pretty nuts. It's also unique in non-combat ways too, which I appreciated.

It is mildly amusing, overall, so... 6/10. Maybe 7/10 on a good day.
Back around a decade ago, it would be around 8/10 I guess.

Well, if you're worried about Piaro losing, then you have nothing to worry about.

The interesting thing is that the author isn't one to just make characters, use them and throw them away - villains included. Some villains cannot return, so them aside, you will eventually see them pop back up; after all, players don't permanently die in the game.
You might be thinking "oh great, this villain is going to come back and cause more trouble" and well, you'll be right... just not all the time. Credit to the author for doing that.

Sure.
Let's see, a few things off the top of my head:
1) Eventually, Grid will make his way to the World Tree and befriend elves. The tree needs care, so who does he call? Piaro! Piaro gets married to an elf and has kids with her. It's quite wholesome.
2) At one point, the venture into Hell. They fight Great Demons and one of them drops a loot that teaches you a random legendary skill. Piaro gets one of these -> and straight up learn legendary-tier Swordsmanship. I'll leave the specific detail out for now. Keep in mind, since he's a legendary farmer, his swordsmanship never progressed.
3) Then, laaaaaaaaaaaaater on, Piaro becomes a God in his own right.
Before you ask, no, that doesn't happen towards the end of OG. There's quite a ways to go after that before it finally ends.
