I just read this from start to end. It starts off shaky with a pretty grim start - Mr. Main Character is a victim of bullying and it's taken its toll on him pretty badly. His main character is his healer and he's forced to help his bullies -> where he intentionally plays badly because its his only chance to get a "win" against the bullies. His alt account is an unpopular class - an "Avenger" class that specializes in getting hit -> and punishing who hit him via chaining skills together.

His alt account - alternative character -> the manhwa's name is actually "Ultra Alternative Character."

I recommend you push past this start because the grim nature is not carried onto the real plot.
So, what happens? One day, he logs out and his alt "follows" him -> he becomes his Avenger character.
Shenanigans begin and with it comes:
1) a variety of characters, some well written and others not-so-much (as to not overload you on every single person they introduce, which is a lot of them)
2) Best Girl
3) a plot that leaves you guessing where it's gonna go - also, it doesn't overstay its welcome nor does it really waste time, so enjoy it while it lasts
4) Best Girl
5) An interesting amount of unique different classes and how they either reflect the character that uses them, or sometimes, the exact opposite.
6) Best Girl
7) Good art and action sequences. Generally, the logic of the fights holds up though the manhwa ABSOLUTELY DOES NOT CARE to tell you what people's stats are at any given time -> which is almost brilliant.

Did I mention Best Girl? If you actually read my reviews -> and then read works I recommend, feel free to reply while taking a guess as to who best girl is.
I wanna spam screenshots of her in action because she is one of the best written characters with a decent amount of subtlety and all -> in all of manhwa. Again, "one of" so don't come at me with someone else being better as it is irrelevant. Also, it is my opinion.

Speaking of my opinions -> 9/10. Get past the grim start and enjoy this.

As for the other comments not caring about it -> those comments are years old and so they read chapters 1 and 2 then gave up; rendering their opinions... not invalid, but obsolete.

If you're wondering if this is worth reading, just ask yourself how much you like the main manga of Mushoku Tensei. This is a bit of a spinoff that explores Roxy's story leading up to the event where she, spoiler alert, gets married to Mr. Main Character.

It is a completed work so there might be some spoilers. Overall, not super heavy spoilers that can ruin the main manga.

It's funny how characters who are direct with their feelings are seen as "GigaChad" meanwhile there is also an expectation of being shy or else... uh, something? Like, would anyone look down on either of them if they skipped all this shy stuff and jumped to making out? Well, other than her dad I guess.

God's Command is a title that gives any skill he uses a 50% chance to instantly reset cooldown.

On the topic of endurance...Fun fact - and a spoiler: You can do the deed in-game, but it has a 1 month cooldown. Grid gets an item that can grant one wish. He wishes to remove the cooldown. Yeah. That's a thing that happens.

Fun fact - and a spoiler: eventually Grid finds underwear belonging to Beriache herself, and it's pretty OP - he equips it. hehehehe

I am like... 90? or even 95% certain that Mr. Main Character is not in any amount of trouble. He can - especially with the sword-that-needs-to-shut-up-already - slice open the entire dungeon in half or something.

I do wonder: what does the kid want? He isn't exactly insane or suicidal or something, so what's he up to?

Yeah, they never did fight. I said that if they did fight - and they absolutely should have - it would've been the end of the manhwa. Done and done.

But because they didn't, I do not recommend it.

I will add: even with all you said, they should still only be attacked after they attack first. You are innocent until proven guilty, not the other way around.

Honestly... there are clever ideas, but the author had a fixed series of events they REALLY wanted to happen -> and made characters be incredibly stupid for those specific events to happen. If it was handled better, like a 7 or 8/10. Bleh.

As it stands, it is a boring manhwa to read. Sure it starts off interesting with some depth and perhaps something clever going on, but then it just falls flat as you realize that there is no real mystery and the plot twists are as impactful as a normal biscuit on an average digestive system (that is to say: not at all).
There are a couple of well written characters but they are not important ones. Even the main villain is like "yeah, I'mma baddie because I'm bad." For about 70% of the run time, the main character can be safely replace with a cardboard cut out of Danny DeVito and it would've improved the plot.

Overall, 2/10. Don't bother.
This manhwa has time traveling shenanigans and instead of being an incomprehensible mess, it is boring.

People chose to become fiends to gain some power. So, they're weaklings who have a bit of power -> and all they do is attack people with no power.
These people with no power aren't weaklings because if they got power, they'd be stronger than you. You fiends weren't good enough to be considered the bottom of the barrel; someone I'd hesitate to call trash because it's called a "garbage can" not a "garbage cannot;" you clearly cannot.

Honestly, there is zero reason to involve innocent people in war. They're just doing it because they're stupid and want to be considered "evil." Notice how the leaders of the fiends are never going around doing wonton destruction and murder? Because it's stupid. Screw these fiends.

Man just hit them with "bruh, ya'll are going whining with such skill issues on display. Pathetic!"
