Depends on the size of the change and the importance of the relationship.
If someone i don’t really care about dislikes me for a reason that i find to be an important part of myself then why would i change that for them?
On the other hand, if someone i know id prefer to get along with just dislikes my tone of voice or my use of grammar, then i would try to change that or just not speak around that person as much.
