Historically macahuitl were used as more of a hacking or blunt force weapon even going so far as having brittle obsidian blades so that they would shatter into minuscule pieces in their enemies' wounds and inflict maximum pain and damage. It'd be nice if they were used accurately in this manhwa but i doubt they will, this is more of a "everything is just swung around" kind of story
