the queen is also a moron and MC tried explaining to her 'people die at random, men who are captured are tortured and women are raped' and that sending the princess to the front lines was a beyond idiotic idea but she forced MC by saying if he didnt go she would get people he cared about to go in his stead (and they would be less flexible than MC and likely get killed as a result)

but silver lining, MC has built up his own private shipping company and is using it to find this worlds American continents with plans to evacuate the continent when the war gets bad enough since the other nations of humans and elves havent developed a sextant to travel the ocean by using the stars for direction
no idea if he will also evacuate when the time comes, but i hope he does since he seems to be the only one in a position of power and knows the nation is fucked unless major changes happen like stripping the witches of their power, forcing the other chiefs to fix the internal problems, and telling the royal family 'you are a fucking retard and will get your children killed or worse'

he was only a background character for a while but i think he was someone who wanted to try and be diablo part 2 and possibly would have been a good 2nd but MC is 'that guy'
and i think part of his problem is he assumed, like everyone else, that the only way to get stronger with black magic is though pain and slaughter and thus killed his former friends to get stronger

this MC and story is so frustrating with the alt world crap, feels less like a 'the earth fucking ended' and more like 'i go back to earth every now n then but am in fantasy land'
MC is also leaving his friends 'high n dry' since he can choose who goes in and out of his alt-world so he could just... go inside anytime he was in actual danger and thus has 0 reason to not do something like Tsukimichi where the passive types can get away from the danger of the undead or hostile groups
and he fuckin knows that one of the members in his friend group is working with a hostile group, and instead of going to help them he is just leaving them

wouldnt be surprised if some of them get seriously injured or nearly killed before MC actually gets off his ass and helps them and pulls them to his alt world where they can be safe

tbh his 2 strongest skills of 'attack the same spot over n over to deal ever multiplying damage increase' and 'survive X hits without taking damage' i feel like the author has forgotten about or abandoned bc of how broken they are

well at this point they have 0 control over the game since the 'AI' that manages it is doing whatever it wants from updates to new sub systems

i mean that is what was said at the beginning was that it was a competition for them to compete to become the only god of this world
only things i can see them needing to work together on is if the 'natural/evil' gods also work together or some outside threat comes in like an 'outer god invasion' like tower stories do

yea, could have been that she had a similar relationship with a dif relative, maybe something like she got badly injured and the other person chose something else, so she only sees their relationship as she wants to and blames MC for her own problems he didnt cause
and in a story, they might work together for plot reasons, but in a realistic scenario i couldnt imagine him forgiving her at all and likely even declaring her as either the main or a big antagonist to his religion, i know if i was in his shoes thats what id do

but she is the one using her face to try and trick MC, since this is no longer 'just a game', if they loose they might as well be dead with their souls forfeit, she is just being a petty bitch throwing a fit

MC (reincarnated from earth) was born into a noble family in a world where the gender norms (but not biology) is flipped, men sub women dom (but he knows how it works biology so he trains and is now stronger than elite knights since he has man advantages) and many women in power lust after him but he isnt interested
MCs home kingdom (queendom?) is hostile with a different nation of nordic like people (valhalla types) and the youngest princess (the one with the feather helmet) is sent out for her first real battle against them since they are at war, MC serves her but she also knows his value in strength so doesnt try to abuse her power to force him to have sex
MC went with her and her knights and they fairly easily beat the nordic fighters, but they split up so MC and a few can hunt down the fighters that ran off and princess can secure a village that was captured for supplies and intel
The one holding the knight hostage was a run away soldier who stumbled across the village, and i think the one with the crossbow is another soldier who was hiding but could have also been a villager who is blaming the princess for the war
