your own personal values aside, there is no merit to sacrifice half your men to get one guy you already had an advantage over. it is also not part of the character's MO so that would have been inconsistent as a narrative. If you also put aside the trope of letting bad guys go for future conflict, it is pretty easy to say they should have killed him as readers, but as readers we're meant to consider the character's point of view and in this case it would have been a problem practically and morally for her to make that call, or the MC for that matter.

but this was a good long chapter. Some other manga are long release with short chapters so it is what it is.

this has got to be the biggest nerf to the MC I have ever seen. i feel like he was stronger in the first few chapters.

i hate these kind of convoluted lies that just keep piling up and piling up. Just invite these people so you don't have to twist yourself in a knot trying to keep it a secret. Its kind of disrespectful to them at this point, they have more than proved themselves as trustworthy.

ok so the MC didn't make the connection that he could connect to her world through his dungeon? at least that the possibility exists? probably the author just not making that connection.

I don't like the idiotic situations the need to keep a secret like that creates. It merely extends the eventual joining of the two parties by a lot. How much easier would it be if she knew how he did it so she can improve her beekeeping techniques.

i have never been a fan of these "you will never get your love interest fulfilled or rejected" sort of trope. Just get it over with. No need for a character to go through all that bs for 40 chapters only to have their interest be paired with someone else.

I have to say, this manga turned out way differently than i thought it would. It's very down in the dirt type of world building and there isn't some fancy anime magic too much beyond just an intuitive slime. In the age of OP MC manga everywhere, it is refreshing to see one that tries to stick close to the ground.
