This was one of the best pc games in its time, right now is just another mobile game.
I particularly played it very little, so i had almost 0 context. I found it is well written, anyone who has read for a bit and developed reading comprehension could follow, the problem is time, as is a weekly basis, you tend to forget things.
And kids who only read shonen complains a lot about world building. A lot of kids in here should read books and stop only reading mainstream manga/manwhua. Is clear that they just want fast stimulus instead of immersing in the histories.

Backstory on random character is definitely to drag things on. Backstories have meaning when it’s important to the plot or to explain how a character that has already being made important on the plot made to where he is. If the character isn’t important, at least has to be a character that has been made likeable through the story so we can sympathize with him, but just throwing random dude number 20 backstorie is just to fill space .

I’m not liking this arc, they introduced a prince with a meh sob background, a generic villain trying to manipulate the prince to do a generic revival of a demon. This type of premises are so generic and with bad story telling. Generic can be good if you do it well, if you want to introduce a sob story , introduce the character, make it likeable, make it so we are invested into him , then you can throw any sob story you want and it will hit hard, but if you just create a random character with a random sob story out of nowhere , it’s at best meh.

Agree only outside the tower. I think tower resident like this old guy , don’t know that their world was inside a game and there are mechanisms in place so they can’t process when players talk about it like it used to be a game. Also for them players are just aliens from outside they called players .
Basically even if a player told them “yo, your tower world used to be a game in my world and I have seen you countless times “ the tower resident will just not register it.

Everything that is serialized and on a weekly base has filler chapters , lol i I can’t understand how people spect to be on high hype all the time, filler chapters are use to give authors time to write, to think, to take a vacation, etc. Without pausing the serialization. This is not a bad filler chapter, they just extended a concept in a way that is difficult to check if it’s part of the story or just filler. Is way better than other serializations.

Torture is kind of a last resort, is like the worst method there is. Coercion , mental tricks, drugs, there are a lot of ways that are better. Also this part of the plot is disappointing, like no1 apart of red and some other guys can think? Like an elite soldier being alone with a weak old man wouldn’t be able to kill him instantly, and even if he takes sometime, the moment the doors opens he could kill him… and if he wasn’t gonna kill him there is not point in the actions he did.
