And remember that that Battlefield of old Gods is another Divine artifact, probably need his own 4 domains to open, so they would need to collect 4 elements as well.

I read to the last chapter already, there are no further mention on this topic. What is more is that some concepts that were introduced earlier and in the middle get abandoned later on, so it looks like a systematic thing to introduce something to only forget it later.

I have a little theory. What if this guy actually sealed demon within him? That's also why he hold a "key" and was sick because of demon trying to awake. And in the history he were gradually worsening until demon break out on his own. But in this timeline it has hastened and demon get free pass to get unsealed?

May be there was some misunderstanding, but to be clear I meant that in video it was omitted, but it was present in chapter, and presicely because it was 1 liner it feels like slap in the face, for what reason they add it? Devil qi is like a rule of itself, this Di was surely not brainwash them, it's more like above human capabilities to control it, so they cannot resist it.
Now what is said there about this artifact is that it consist of a rules to create a world within itself and by opening 4 regions you created Dao.
And this is important part that the rules of Devil qi cannot be countered by anything, other than Dao itself.

But now take a moment back and remind that MC was previously poisoned by Devil qi in outer space. What I think that would happen in the future is that he would cultivate Devil qi alongside everything else, but this time his mind will be protected by Dao. You remind that previously he countered Devil qi posession by that artifact imbued with 3 rules? Now it basically a complete version and it would make it possible to control it and mindfully cultivate.

As for Di himself he is probably an embodiment of those rules in some body, so all of his actions and desires are like laws itself. And this make me think that his body like those regions was split in 4 to contain only one part of it, but I'm not sure which one (so it like instead of water, fire, earth, wind, something else, for example mind, body, ..., ...)
