I'm so afraid that Sakamoto isn't really there, because his appearance comes so out of the blue.

Edit: Nvm, the old sandblasting guy also showed up two chapters ago.

As if an item having a "Best in Slot" tag makes any more sense.

As I said, whether you look at it from the perspective of an RPG or from a world that reminds us Earthlings of an RPG, an item having "Best in Slot" in its name makes no sense in either case.

I guess in that case, if BIS really does mean "Best in Slot", maybe the author really made a reference they didn't fully understand. They just heard the term "Best in Slot" in reference to a powerful item and thought it's something the game tells you and not just a term the players use.

Another commenter guessed that it is related to the word "bi" and means that it is the second iteration of the item, which also makes sense, given how Gaile just upgraded it.

It has a time limit and once it runs out he's completely out of mana. He used it once before in chapter 125.

Chapter 125 when he fought the undead colossus. Back then his time limit was 1 minute.

I am saying that I think they are not making a reference at all.

If BIS does not mean Best in Slot (as I am thinking), that would mean it is not an RPG reference, which in turn means the author isn't making an RPG reference, which means the author isn't making a reference they don't understand.

Wow, how much of a miserable person does one have to be to get off so hard on taking joy away from others? This manga doesn't have an official translation, does it? So they aren't losing a single penny because of this.

Godzilla, feel free to go wild. They're asking for it.

No, I mean those little windows showing the name of the item. It doesn't make sense that they would "know" that an item is "Best in Slot". That's why I don't think BIS means Best in Slot in this story.

But it's not the translator writing it, it's the author. Given that item names in the world have been said by the characters, it means that these names exist within the world. That "BIS" is in the item's name implies that characters in the world would be aware of it, so it makes little sense for it to mean "Best in Slot", for the reason I mentioned earlier.

Does that even make sense here? The world isn't a video game where you have a guide listing all existing items, so nobody could ever know what is the "best".

I'm fairly sure this wasn't in the webnovel. Interesting to see that they're deviating from it and not in a bad way.

Unfortunately for her, she is now weaker than before and he is going to be much stronger, since he should be able to evolve into a juvenile now, if I recall correctly.

This website uses a different group of translators. They are only at chapter 107. I'd prefer it if they didn't just switch groups in the middle of the story.

We've found it, the legendary Succubus tower of Babel.

I'm so glad the last page answered the question that bugged me for half the chapter.

Many games have a "kill floor" deep in their worlds, where you die when you touch it. E.g. if you were to jump off a cliff at the edge of the map, you will die once you hit that floor, because otherwise you would just fall forever. For simplicity's sake this floor is often not limited to that area and instead stretches across the whole map.

Aisha was writing an incestuous yaoi fanfiction about Belton and Lucas and you can't tell me otherwise.

Chapter 12 had her character sheet. Yes, she's 16. This isn't news.

We also know that Roni is 18.
