The author just needed a ridiculously overpowered ugly bastard that could NTR even an NTR master like MC, so he made one. No point in over analyzing it.

For someone who has been powerful enough to hold the world in the palm of their hand most of their life, it's unthinkable to run away without at least first setting up a plan or strategy to hold or regain power. It would be too humiliating.

Kind of an underwhelming chapter, considering it was the "big reveal" moment and all. Could have used some more shocked reactions, disbelief, face slapping, etc.

Deadpool is definitely an anti-hero. He does heroic stuff but also uses lethal violence freely, is motivated by money, revenge, and personal interests, breaks and ignores rules and heroic codes, and is selfish and morally inconsistent.

But he's also a self-aware parody of standard heroes, so he's not a textbook case anti-hero.

The artist is amazing as usual. Just seamlessly turning the detailed, menacing original design into a cute and cuddly one while still keeping the essence.

So yeah, MC basically turned into a stoic Aizen-type mastermind character who always has the situation in his grasp and the right tools for the job at the ready.

It's just weird, he was basically fumbling around and winning through sheer luck last season, and there wasn't even a big timeskip or anything.

Honestly, I can easily see him becoming a mass murdering maniac if the research he's interested in needs him to become one. But they're safe for now, I guess.

I like Jiu'er. Hope she sticks around. There's just something healing about seeing someone that clueless and derpy trying her best while surrounded by cruel, ruthless schemers.
