I believe he does not need the script in hand to start acting he just needs to have interacted with a physical script in order to experience the scenes.

Mc is pretty strong he is comparable if not above the leaders and elders of thr othedox factions but he is not strong enough to charge in recklessly and still protect the people he came with. Secondly Although MC did hurt the Heavenly demon he did ho easy on MC. If he had intentions to kill MC in a fight I doubt MC could actually get near him let alone hurt him.

Although MC does want revenge against the Orthodox factions leader he is not stupid enough to think he can take him as he is. And it would hurt them more to see everything he worked for be turned against him
