Well they can't "know", just strongly suspect. And they do strongly suspect.https://i.postimg.cc/wxVStdkN/i.png this frame shows it.

Keep in mind they are probably seeing lots of strange things that are blowing their minds. So Python being a demon able to use "demon spirits" isn't totally impossible to them relative to the idea of Python somehow being human. I'm sure Nie Lis technique of stealing someones form, memories etc. is not a well known technique, certainly not one they'd likely know of.

Even that evil Son li whatever Nie Li is battling against refers to Nie Li as Python and Son li is surely more knowledgeable than those two. Son li might have suspicions but like those two the current situation makes it irrelevant.

Reads minds or is that not meant to be a thought bubble?

You can't say they are clueless, they just decided to not care for now. MC is helping keep them alive and has saved their lives however many times. There was even a specific part where there was talk about not prying into Nie li's secrets and what Nie Li is

A worker of the site who does things like uploads and fixes chapters goes by the name of "bot" or something like that.

Not even close. This is a backer of a great enemy of Nie Li

https://i.postimg.cc/4yY4DVjZ/i.png

It's ultimately not the demon sect that is NIe Li's enemy but the emperor which has people of all species on es side and of all species against em.

I am sure in human form this one would attack Nie Li as well

Is this suppose to be completely textless except for a sound effect or two? Seems like a error

Of course poop and eggshells work in real life, I didn't say otherwise, feather beds, not so much.

I explained the thing about cannibalism, even Minako792 inadvertently made the case as well. In short, cannibalism doesn't work long term if there is no other food in the system, even if there is other food in the system it doesn't work if the food is insufficient. It would be better to slaughter other starving people to leave more of their food for yourself and not have children. Sure you could eat the people you slaughter but you'd do it all at once so their bodies don't have a chance to use up more calories. It's not just cannibalism, eating any animal that isn't eating something you can't eat is problematic for long term food. Regardless the demons should have all starved to death by now realistically speaking.

Spiders are very cannibalistic, but if there were no other arthropods for the spiders to eat they'd still die out. It's more a matter of opportunity and getting ride of competition, not long term scarcity.

Soup might mentally make you more happy thinking you are eating more but it doesn't increase the amount of calories and if people are on the edge of starving to death it's not their mental well being or avoiding riot that is the issue. Have you played Frostpunk with saying that?

Coming at MC with metal chains, they really didn't know what they were up against.

But was there reason to think the criminal killers were connected to the tribe village slaughterers before going out to attack?

So why go kill the criminal killers?

Does seem to be a villain but that's alot of baseless conjecture there.

Bur MC didn't know mass killers were slaughterer the crime of a city when MC came there or that they even belonged to that "true palace" faction, at least not till MC entered the battle?

Please remind me what the original objective of coming here was and how all this serves that objective.

Also the other emperor from the old world is pretty bad as well. MC should have plenty of hate for both sides. Again we don't know they were behind the native village slaughter, do we? And even if that man was part of that group, you could target that man and not the whole group,

"Believe and follow me" isn't exactly "bow your head in supplication."

Werewolf is more believable simply because Werewolf doesn't have motivation to lie. I'm sure Werewolf doesn't want the world to end, hasn't had a chance to meet with and make a deal with anyone who wants the world to end considering Werewolf was imprisoned before this (no one with a deal to end the world with a powerful being would be rotting in a prison cell) and has been with them since. Sure maybe some system message or other method could have been used to communicate a deal but Werewolf hasn't acted at all suspicious either, unlike someone who allied with a dragon destroying and invading "servers" And also is still very vague about how to save the world.

So what motivation would there be to say someone extremely powerful and dangerous right in front of you who could easily kill you is lying about wanting to save the world instead of destroying it if you didn't want the world to end even at the price of your own life? None.

Don't forget about the other beings trying to stop the world ending, that messed with the snake battle and used the poor snake boss person to deliver a message and gave MC the off air warning scale, they could also help determine this if you trust em and if you can communicate with them off air in a timely fashion,

Though even if you are certain the asshole in front of you is evil and wants to end the world, are they strong enough to take both em on at this moment. Might it be better to feign uncertainty and avoid battle. That's not a leading question, I truly don't know. They have to fight soon anyway, that was the plan at least with the dragon. Not much more room to get stronger to prepare to beat these two I think.

Though there is another approach. "If you want me to trust you, hand over the world seed, trust me somewhat" If the goal truly is to save the world, es knows that Necromancer wants to do that. Even if method is disagreed on, that should make it worth handing over the world seed instead of making a powerful enemy.

More accurately Geon tried many things and came into a deeper fundamental understanding of the kong fu magic. When someone does a move in front of em Geon can sometimes see what they are doing and then try it emself. Like seeing someone execute a sword side swipe and then swiping your sword sideways in a similar way. It's not as BS as you make it sound. Geon earned that knowledge as a child.

A smarter enemy would track down MC's family and use hostages and such. Isn't Jang Geon MC's given family name? Or is it a pseudonym? Even if it's a pseudonym it seems foolish to introduce yourself to evil people.

I'm a little confused as to why MC is even here though, why does MC care if some evil thugs get slaughtered? How does it relate to the native village slaughter, were those assholes from the same group? I don't recall indications of such. I thought after the spirit vision thing MC's next objective was to deal with the culprit.

I did look at the single panel where the prisoner is placed on oaks back wrong, didn't notice the prisoner amongst the fur pattern and the branch in front and MC arm along the side, and thought MC was just climbing on in that panel I think. The small panel where MC was holding prisoner was a clue I didn't consider or perhaps missed seeing altogether when reading through this, but even if you count both panels that's no half page.https://i.postimg.cc/xTVbCFyw/i.png there is a whole full length panel above it and a panel to the right of it on the same page.

https://i.postimg.cc/TYchP2Pb/i.png

I'd say that's about a third of a page counting the panel of MC holding the prisoner.

But it is a bad story I have reason to be negative over. And thus I didn't read it super carefully and made a very small mistake. I have not been wrong in my criticisms of the story and have a right to criticize story I don't like in comments, or even criticize story I do otherwise like.
