MC lied, and anyone who knows anything about the famous Necromancer should know. If Necromancer's undead only distinguished between living and undead, necromancers allies and necromancer em self would be at risk. And anyone who's seen any of the broadcasts of necromancer fighting with undead and allies would see that.
