There is no theme to the fight itself, unlike most fights before

And since none of this is connected to actual mythology... it just feels like a new isekai

Yea, earlier the focus was on two things:
1. Theme of the fight (The strongest god vs strongest human, the father of gods vs father of humans, justice vs evil, etc.)
2. Actual mythology/history (of course weirdly mixed so that Zeus, Adam, Odin etc. Can coexist)

But now, there is neither any visible theme of fighting, nor is there any connection to actual history/mythology

It's just... it feels like start of standard Isekai.

I can Imagine Demon King having the same taste in estetique as Gale...
