That said I don't know what you said is true. we haven't seen future Seol go all out. And probably could currently win against her inexperienced younger self. Given time this will be different. But I don't see proof of your theory.

Well unless the story takes pains for this to never come up, MC will want to clear up the misunderstanding of why MC joined the party hunting future Seol. But as crazed and twisted as future Seol has become, will it even matter.

Yes the system said MC and Darkness have some mechanical similarities in absorbing spirit energy from those they kill. But if MC wins spirit energy disappears. That is very different from what happens if Darkness wins. But even more important while MC might act selfish sometimes, it is a far cry from the desire of power through killing everything of Darkness. MC personality just doesn't fit that theory.

Also as I pointed out, the story has put too much into these extra dimensions for it to not be significantly relevant.

My best theory is that MC will survive by fleeing to the extra dimensions at the end of battle so they can all keep surviving with their consciousness.

MC is maybe going to offer shelter to humans who want it in those pocket dimensions. It would be a smart thing to do. It would take out the sting of Darkness's threat trying to convince people to go against MC and get humans on MCs side. Humans able to fight without worrying about loved ones.

MC should also tell them xhe use to be human. But considering the bizarre inexplicable fear of revealing that info, I doubt that will happen.

Aura gauntlet. MC realized the system wasn't going to let em use a blade made of aura so instead used the "failure" of it coming out all over the hand instead, but in a more controlled way.

Plus aura explosion, not sure how MC figured out that one. Maybe a natural result of the unstable aura.
