If others had actually solved the puzzle then people wouldn't have been so shocked when the incense burner was picked up. Which is a huge issue with it, if everyone was tested then after the first few people would get the idea and just copy. Well also if they keep on using the same puzzle surely word would get out. Basically the puzzle only existed for MC to solve, which isn't unusual for these asian comics.

Also the art of this comic is really good sometimes.
