Well the trope of someone (especially MC but also some random enemies) loving battle is common and old, and not very interesting.

The twist on this one is basically sadism, MC doesn't care about the challenge of battle as much as beating people up of course some challenge and justification is desired as well. Not interesting either.

And of course the contrast of the least likely to be good at combat, a 5 year old girl, with being OP. You see a variant of this in ghost horror movies where a little girl is playing or has a doll or ball or something but is also threatening and dangerous. Meh.

MC has no interesting objectives, no personality that makes me want to invest in their story. I don't remember all the details why but I did drop this eventually.

First, you'd have to be supernaturally strong and fast to fight and move like MC does. Even if MC was a big pile of bulging dense muscles, something not drawn, it wouldn't be enough for that. Also to grow that much muscle in such a short amount of time despite showing lots of 'doing anything but training including alot of time shown in a wheel chair'.... even though it wouldn't be enough anyway

Also there is simple issue of mass/weight, a drop kick doesn't mean much effect when you weigh as much as a 5 year old little girl. The significance of weight for combat is why boxing has weight categories.

If the light were behind her feet maybe (and that area is drawn lighter like a light is there as well). But not anywhere close to how the shadow would appear from a overhead light like what is shown in the other panels. You agree the perspective oddly focuses on the area of that shadow, right? In a way where it seems significant somehow.

That shadow in the last scene doesn't make sense, and how the perspective seems to focus on it suggests that's important.

Also the panel with the face where it seems like es is staring at that area.

That old guy chained up is likely going to help somehow, going to offer to be experience, going to offer to help fight and MC becomes desperate enough to allow that, or both with helping fight and then dying and offering to be exp.

Sure, a "sharp tongue" is aggressive. But so is martial arts. Should a martial artists be offended if they are said to have a sharp sword or a sharp strike? It means strength (in words) as well as aggressive. Someone being mean but clumsy with words could never be said to have a "sharp tongue" when ever I've heard the expression. Of course it is a translated expression so the meanings might not perfectly line up.

This expression, as crude as it is drawn, should not have been worn by MC for even a moment. Sure MC cooled down when MC realized it was a indirect way of pushing for a duel. IMO that should have made it more infuriating, not less.

Again 'it was not as complex as my high expectations expected' after being asked for their opinion and not eating much is total weak sauce even if the goal was intentional insult where they actually loved the food but just wanted to troll or something. Especially as MC is a high master at both martial arts and medicine. MC has no interest in being a professional chief or even as a hobby.
