Mephisto spent most of the chapter with his arms at his hips or crossed in front of his body, positions that display confrontation or disagreement; once he got a glimpse at the greed within Iruma's heart his arms dropped to his side; and finally, once he acknowledged Iruma not just as a student but as a future king, his arms folded behind his back, a position that displays service. Moreover, he is quite literally Iruma's left hand on the last pannel. Very beautifully composed story told through Mephisto's body language alone.

He's just a kid being a kid, just like the rest of them. They act based on their heart more than adults, but they do come to grow much more because of it.

While I don't really like that all their hard work was washed away by an almost unknown monster, I have to admit that that is one sick ass design. The hands of #9s body almost forming a halo around it as if achieving enlightenment juxtaposed to the hands from within the chest just trying to pry open the shell to reveal a cornucopia of eyes all looking in every single direction is metal and eldritch as all fuck.

Haha my brother in Christ, if you knew me in real life you'd know I have the memory span of a goldfish. I'm essentially cruising through most manga recalling only the last 5 or so episodes. Then once they end I re-read them in their totality to properly enjoy a cohesive story.
