to be honest, it doesnt take too much time as you can burn through the chapters in a few mins. even if you take ur time and can only read for 2-3hrs a day because of job/family even so it will probably only take you a month to get through them all. the manhua also skipped out alot on the last arc's more drawn out stuff. i am speaking cutting out nearly 500-600 novel chapters. well i'd say enjoy but that might be the correct term.

nah the owner of the website got sent a Cease&Desist if he tries that he will basically jail himself. so they officially announced they will not rebrand. also martial peak is actually coming to end. its like 100 chapters left. if that. manhua is aproximately where novel would be at chapter 5800-5900s. there are 6006 novel chapters.

yo did you see the news? ReaperScans got the ban hammer dropped on them. because they were putting translated novel chapters behind a paywall Kakao dropped a nuke on them. Rip alot of series that they were translating. hopefully other groups pick up those series and their translators. those guys were legit.

oh the dub vs sub thing i get that. i had that with one piece. started with dub and went to sub and my whole world crashed in on itself. but the english dub version is pretty decent. at least sung jin woo's va always showed alot of passion.

only advice i can offer is cherish the time you have left with them. my mom is the same atm. i feel like she is slowly on her way out too. she is forgetful and sometimes she just sits there and stares into nothing it scares the crap out of me. so i know she isnt long for this world. i just dont want her to be sad and suffer anymore.

ah 'constallation that returned from hell" was really good untill a cetain point then it started to drag its feet, the story kept getting more and more boring. not to mention the writing skills dropped drastically. so people do what people do when they arent happy with a product. they stop caring about it. so that just kinda killed it in its tracks. hoarding from hell i havent read in a year or so. so i had no idea it died. oh well i guess it wasnt meant to be.

i have been so busy irl. my uncle passed away recently. so me and my mother went abroad to take care of his funeral and alot of stuff related to that. we also met alot of family members. which i dont get along with because of me publicly announcing that i am no longer a muslim so they publicly announced i am no longer part of the family :) nice people right?

well anyways did that in march. then when we got back my moms health deteriorated because of sadness. my uncle was very young when grandma died so aparently my aunt and mom looked after him like their own kid. so i have been taking care of her and making appoints with hospital and doctors for her.

not to mention dealing with ex gf who has now sued me over the custody of my daughter after she abondened her. so yeah its like the whole fking world has kinda turned against me. reading is now one of the only 2 healthy things i can do to get my mind off of things.

i havent done this in a while so i am little rusty but this is my review of martial peak.

story:
guy who is in a sect gets beaten and bullied by people for being weak. he is a young kid and finds an item to help him grow and defeat his enemies one by one. as time goes on he makes friends, foes and finds wives. yes multiple wives. to find happiness and grow stronger.

ratings:
[art 3/10]: honestly a shit art like at some point its so bad that they straight up use assets of cardboard cutouts of characters that they have drawn once and mirror the image and place it in different panels. so yeah not great...
[story 6/10] so without spoiling much. the author has some writing skills the ideas he explores and the power system all work pretty well untill a certain point i have some gripes about a certain enemy faction he meets later on called the ink-tribe but overal i am not too dissatisfied.
[characters 5/10] not the best, not the worst. there are some really fun and good character development in the first 600ish chapters. but then the author pretty much forgets some people and then there are others who completely get left in the dust who can honestly have great comeback later on in the story but alas.
[overal rating 4/10]: it isnt great nor is it really horrible. it is readable. there are alot of chapters but they are short chapters so you can get through like hunderd chapters in an hour or two if you are slow. reading all 4000 chapters in like 4-5 days isnt too crazy. so its great in that aspect. but its like popcorn there is no sustinance to it. its just fun to consume.

final thoughts/trivia: i remember when this story was first being serialized in 2012/2013 i think i started reading this around 2015. i grew up reading this story. so the main character yang kai kind of grew up together with me over the years. i always like stories like this where you actually see the mc grow up slowly. it gives a much better feeling than random powerups or timeskips. so i guess i am a nostalgia reader. if you wanna get into reading this my only tip for you is. just turn off your brain and put it on standby mode while you scroll. dont think too much about stuff and just accept and continue to read. that is all nothing more, nothing less.

man sad to see that alot of the old disqus comments with like thousands of upvotes have been deleted. there were some really fun ones to read among them.

i wouldnt say that. that title would belong to "Top Tier Providence: Secretly Cultivate for a Thousand Years". this feels more like tiktoks that you can midlessly scroll through for hours. although the tiktoks are a few seconds each. they only add up to a measly few days of watch time.

one piece on the other hand is a goddamn beast. you would need at least 2-3 months of reading every day to catch up from chapter1 to the latest chapter as of now which is 1145...

each chapter consisting of nearly 5-6 pages. meaning that 20 chapters of equivelant of a single manga chapter of stuff like one piece. then it is nothing much. you probably got through it in like 4-5 days or 10-15 days if you took your time.
