Moreover why the hate when you ought to know by now, Eris isn't the smartest or greatest with words.
She meant no malice or harm by the way she handled things, regardless of how it actually impacted rudy.
But also, they need to finish up this "flash back" soon, because this is dragging on too long and I agree with the OP of this thread, i do not enjoy this part of the story.
Hoping IF there is a revelation about the actual truth (assuming this is all a lie or EXTREMELY biased telling) that the outcome is cathartic, otherwise the series will have dramatically degraded in my opinion of it.
Sometimes stories need monsters, irredeemably, detestable, hate able monsters.
I feel like the aliens of this story are meant to be that, meaning, I dont want them to be relatable, I dont want them "humanized"
Thought I could just count on that to get to 80 maybe, but the +1 level has been reded out for a while now, thought originally that you just couldn't get a level up from both the mystery box and the "normal" way in 1 day, but its been a week now since the +1 level option went red on the mystery box, leading me to believe there is a limit of some sort on how much you can level that way...
It was originally supposed to be an entry for a short story competition with a max character(word) count, but kawahara was unable to cut it down enough without gutting the core story.
Ended up posting what he originally wrote on his blog where it exploded in popularity out of proportion.
The original story consisted of the first floor boss disaster, and picks up when asuna and kirito meet again on floor 72 / beat the game creator.
All the rest was added as the blog story blew up in popularity.
By "normal way" I mean, many "Light Novels" start as "blog novels" (web novels WN) hence why so many series have names that are essentially their summary, as a way to get people to click on them on the blog novel sites / grab attention over all the other series posting.
WN does well enough, publisher picks it up, gets an editor -some- minor aspects of the web novel get tweaked (extra arcs, inconsistencies in writing ect) and becomes a Light Novel.
If that does well enough, might get a manga, if that does well enough gets an anime.
SAO almost went straight from blog novel to anime.
That said if you really are obsessed with only reading it, why not go read the novel instead?
I do know next season is supposed to drop sometime in 2026 though.
You could also watch the anime as I am pretty sure the second season covers all of part 2.
Caught me off guard a bit.
Also they f'ed up... hard...
