-proceeds to just kill people because
-lets a bs fight occur because hostage, still kills his opponent
-lets hostage die for no damn reason?
Honestly thought dragon dude seemed chill AF the entire time and had thought him and MC were gonna get along well, this entire arc is like the author changed out of the blue.
I hope he doesn't have to die here, he was quite a likeable character after all and seemed at odds with his family.
Its part psychological strategy to keep you interested, and part because the chapter has to end some where as the story is often adapted from a novel, and much like a novel, the only time the story isn't a cliff hanger if you stop reading is typically if you finish a full chapter or arc.
Still not sure why they all had to give up their bodies/put their souls in the slimes in the first place/why their civilization seems to have faded away.
Probably all related to MC's crest combined with why so much special ore was buried in the area/seems like the perfect place for the cave king to setup shop.
Annoyed with this series slightly, MC's old room mate dies, but then his mentor/guarantor gets a fucking hole clean blown through him, like spine gone, but he lives.
Now his frenemy is just dead out of the blue, after promising to put in a good word with his childhood friend?
IDK I enjoy most of the premise but man...
Also tower on top of a dungeon with a suspiciously not finn like character from the author of danmachi, makes me wonder if there is meant to be a connection or not.
Considering the MC was fairly weak in his previous life due to having chosen easy mode/the only thing he had going for himself was that he had learned a SHIT ton of skills, its likely based on unlocking the right set of skills less quantity of damage but who knows/we will see.
Since agnes is so overly invested in the development, drawing all their would be customers east instead of west is likely to fiscally ruin them and I believe tia orchestrated this on purpose.
Want to see it happen ASAP, agnes' are fucking terrible. 1st prince might actually turn out ok as he seems to understand that he needs to get away from his control freak of a mother.
The only real twist in all of this story I think is that the MC was always the "zenieth" 's fiancé, in other words when he said her fiancé was kidnapped by the demonic cult he didn't realize he was talking about himself.
Or at least that is my guess from the context in chapter 1.
What I wan't to know though is why he went to the demonic cult in the first place, said he got betrayed but how? Only flash backs we seem to get is about all the crazy ass bitches that seem to be around the MC at all times.
