The main issue for amanda is how vital the dungeon at that town is/how other forces are constantly after it.

The only way she can leave alessa is another adventurer can cover down.

Do yall remember the nercromancer fran met shortly after leaving alessa?

Hell in many of these series even if there is some form of long range magical communication, those also are expensive services/technologies.

Ish: From what I remember in the novel, its not 100% the lord's fault but these peeps scheming in the background, however amanda IS going to raise hell and it will ultimately be fixed

Ish, obviously the housing bubble is still going to burst and the world hasn't gone full "reverse isekai" yet so parts of the original future are still in motion, at least for a short while longer.

NGL though forgot about the 8/11 bit even though it wasn't that long ago.

Yeah tales of demons and gods was among the first bit of chinese cultivation novels I delved into, right around when I started getting into reading japanese and korean WN too... speaking of now that I'm done with active duty service / am retired... I don't really have an excuse/reason not to start reading WN's again...

Ah, thanks, I vaguely know the premise of what is going on since I grew up in the 90's and 2008 housing bubble crash is the main reason I have been too affraid to really seriously invest in anything...

Especially when you look into the root causes and what lead up to it.

Speaking of, lots of banks be shutting down in america all of a sudden, alot of other funky stuff that is reminiscent of 2008 too... hope im just seeing patterns where there aren't any...

Either way, the story is very close from fully devolving and diverting from the past worlds history.

Basically in real world history, the housing market bubble is about to pop, so its around 2008ish in the timeline.

The Rothschild baldie beardo "forced" the Johnathan group to trade over their assets in mortgages and oil. Assets that normally should be extremely valuable and have massive growth.

However when the housing market crash it takes the oil industry/prices along with it. In otherwords the rothschild family is about to become fiscally ruined.

In reality the rothschild goon did the johnathan group a favor allowing them to cash out enmass while the market was still at a high.

I really really hate viese...

Glad that tia is fully on board with letting tweedle retard show his incompetency so that he may never be considered to occupy that position in permanence or even in temperance ever again.

Ah I had read Circle Zero and had considered checking into the reboot, now that I know this is his M.O. i'll be careful and ignore series from this guy going forward.

Freezing was on my to do list as I had heard good things about it/it got an anime even right? Only thing worse than a good concept that gets convoluted fast is a really good series that never gets finished.

At least with berserk there is an understandable reason... (well its technically getting finished but we will never know for sure if what we are getting is the intended way the original author meant...)

Not sure who that is, sounds korean however, think the only korean novel I got into (and honestly been on a long break from WN/LN in general) was Legendary Moonlight Sculptor and I have sort of fallen behind on that series... to the point where I almost need to reread from the begining again... and I dread heavily the MTL stretch... like... there was 10? volumes straight of pure unedited machine translation, I don't know how my brain didn't melt from that.

Speaking of... I miss the manwha of LMS... figured that might have been a half good way to make it through the MTL chapters again once the manwha covered it but then it just stopped...

Not going to lie, its among the better cultivation/chinese series.

I don't know why but many chinese series feel... very samey and recycled in a way thats 1000x worse than every new isekai that comes out.

I tend to snub some series purely on the count of them being chinese at times... (burned too many times by series start OK but very quickly turn monotonous)

At least most isekai's start out with interesting or unique concepts... I have what I call a "20 chapter" rule, many manga's get axed around that spot if they do and most isekai plots tend to fall apart at that point as well.

Good initial concept but lack of a bigger plan for the story usually pokes through around the 20 chapter mark and many stories become convoluted going forward from that point.

Havent really got to comment since they changed the system from disqus... really don't know why they did this HOWEVER:

Finaly hitting parts of the story I hadn't already read in the LN.

For better or worse, Mad Snail gets bored easily of his projects and moves on, novel got left in the lurch for a long time, even when chapters were released the story was starting to feel "hurried" so I kind of just checked out on the novel for a time.

That said any novel readers out there able to confirm for me if the novel is still on going or if it ever got an ending? might be time for me to get back into reading this series again if its got an ending proper finally.
