I think the initial comment could be viewed as "snarky" by just repeating what the original message had said, even though you intended to reaffirm his statement. It's the internet so it's easy to misunderstand a comment even if you are fluent and make no mistakes.

Ahh this whole thing is a big misunderstanding. In this case it was just the choice of words that you used, if you would have added a few more words by saying "no one cares is complaining about the translator not using those words" there would have been less of a misunderstanding.

You are in the wrong here Darkun2, it's not a difference in culture it's a difference in personality. You dismissed his initial comment by saying no one cared for his comment, any normal person would take that as fighting words. If you didn't intend to offend you need to understand how the other person would interpret your message. It seems like English isn't your first language?
