The actual scene was Narutos son and a random character we've never seen (both with matching scars and random ass tattoos) are about to fight in a war torn konoha, talking right before the story jumps back to an origin story for narutos troublemaker son.
Then you read any of the rest of the series, and it just pushes that idea further and further. You know, how the first Arc was all about boruto betraying the ethic of being a Shinobi because he focused on shortcuts and technology, rather than actual ninjutsu? He gets the mark, he becomes corrupted, the assumed "villain" and "hero" are the opposite of what people assumed. It's almost a trope at this point
Better off dead
"MC would die if it wasn't for a magic moment that only exists to keep MC alive" falls into deus ex machina. Especially when magic fox hadn't been around for countless chapters and comes back more overpowered than ever. Especially when the chapter starts with "he's stronger than me. He has an ability better than mine. I failed to do what I wanted to do with my regression. And now I'm stabbed in the abdomen"
You're more than welcome to disagree with me, but it's not a stretch to call it a deus ex machina moment
It says it's at least 5 years old, so that puts it older than some of the series I've read, but I'm pretty sure it's newer than others. I just have a terrible memory
I will concede that he was not in charge of any plans that North Korea had to damage South Korea, but if Kim jong-il died in his place, I don't think the brother would have signed a peace treaty with the south.
I may be having a more tribalist take on the subject than you, but I think my take is more accurate to the universe in question
He's literally taking the form of one of the members of the clan that was sent to destroy his entire hometown. What are you talking about?
