Nope. He will survive. You can be rest assured that pretty much everyone MC cares about survives till the end.

Nah, he is telling the truth but only the truth he knows. The actual circumstances are more complicated than this and this Dragon is simply in the dark about such matters.

Obviously, Zhou Fan wins but in a way, the battle itself was won by the Heavenly Sovereign. I will write how the battle went on but am not including the underlying past events that took place to reach the current battle as that would make the message too long.
The Heavenly Sovereign was the older brother of the Zhou Fan's very first life(Zhou Yi-fan the Demonic Emperor was his 33rd reincarnation I think).
As said by the Decimating Dragon Ancestor, the Heavenly Sovereign was an arrogant being who wanted become the absolute ruler of the world capable deciding each and every being's fate
. But as already said in the manhwa, he too is still a being bound by the laws of the world and can't be a ruler in truest sense.
The closest clue Heavenly Sovereign has in order to cross the Sovereign Realm is to use the Nine Serenities cultivation method and combine all the powers of other Sovereign paths and Sacred Beasts.

Zhou Fan manages to inherit all the Sovereign Paths but the Heavenly Sovereign uses his Divine Eye to extract those paths from him. After he was done with that, he tried to kill Zhou Fan but Shuanger and Baili Yuyu rescue him while sacrificing their lives.
The Sovereign had now reached the Supreme Realm he had long wanted to reach and he kills of the Lou clan who had come to rescue Zhou Fan and the Sacred Beasts were stopped by the Sword Sovereign and as they watched Heavenly Sovereign reach the next stage, they too lost hope in winning the battle.
However, they were rescued by the Sword Sovereign who betrayed the Heavenly Sovereign and dies.
In the mean time, Zhou Fan who hovering over life and death, meets the soul of Nine Serenities who comes to know of the entire past and as he watched all of his previous lives, his insight of Dao increases allowing him to get closer to the world with the help of Self Art he got from his master.
Basically, with the help of True Self Art, Zhou Fan manages to reach the Heaven and Earth Realm which is the actual state where one can control the entire world, not the Supreme Realm.
Zhou Fan then revives all of Lou clan who died in the battle and erased himself from everyone's memories and disappear to a shed where he forcefully brought the Heavenly Sovereign.
And although it wasn't explicitly state in the novel, Zhou Fan likely killed or trapped the Heavenly Sovereign for all of eternity in that shack.
The novel ends with Zhou Fan taking two poor sisters as his disciples who were the reincarnations of Shuanger and Baili Yuyu and takes them to his home where Qincheng was waiting for him.
It's been nearly 3 years since I finished the novel so I might be wrong about a few minor details so if anyone finds them then you are free to correct me.

Well since I was answering his question, I didn't find the need to add a spoiler tag to the answer itself. I only kept the spoiler tag to the part of the comment that isn't actually related to the answer he was seeking.

No, they are all allies to the end though Zhou Fan kind of screws them over in between. Though Zhou Fan doesn't get to have a talk with due to his immediate battle with Heavenly Sovereign.

No, they are all allies and don't actually fight. Even though Zhou Fan kind of screws them over but it wasn't a full fledged grudge between the two. Zhou Fan doesn't even get the chance to have a conversation with them before he is forced to fight the Heavenly Sovereign.

Yeah you might be right about Arel and Woroka and they might take place off-screen since this is a manhwa and doesn't necessarily have to include the descriptions from the novel.
As for the cult and all that, I must say I was also quite surprised since I only thought that this story concludes with his revenge but turns out there was a lot more to do with fate and past then i anticipated and I can't wait to see how they will portray it in the manhwa.

I am not saying that it isn't peak but merely stating how things went down in the novel. You could say that it is my curiosity on wanting to know how the Author plans to maintain the story when some events that should have already happened, didn't happen while others happened too early(especially the annihilation of Woroka is going to have a lot of impact).
And I might add, I am not hating this manhwa. In fact, I find this manhwa so good that I recommend this manhwa to all my friends. The fight scenes are especially much more pronounced than compared to novel.
And lastly, thank you for writing such a calm reply to my comment compared to a certain someone. I didn't realize that there are people out there who can hate on you just because of writing what I came to know from the novel. I will have to keep in mind to not write such content anymore.

Bro, either you were born blind or you don't know English. Read the very first sentence. I said the story went completely different from the novel, not that it isn't peak. My main intention in writing these spoilers is for those who "might" have an interest in the actual details of the story, which many manhwa completely miss since they lack the actual descriptions provided in the novel(and yes including this "peak" manhwa as well).
If you realllly have a problem with me writing these facts from the novel then I have a solution for you and that is simply to not see the comments(this way you are happy that your peak is not disturbed and I am happy that I don't have to listen to your whining).
I will not reply to any retorts you might have to this comment.
Thank you

The manhwa is completely different from how things went down in the novel.
1) Firstly, the barbarians attacking the Perdium castle took place right after Ghislain appoints Kaor as the leader of Leather trade from the Kingdom of Turian. He leaves behind Kaor because he receives a message that Perdium is being attacked. Zwalter had his hands tied with Barbarians attacking the fortress unable to send aid to nearby settlements.
2) Ghislain arrives on time and defeats Kutsu, the one leading the Barbarians earning himself the monicker of 'The Red Demon' according to the legends of Barbarians. Ghislain then proceeds to rescue the people of Perdium who were the main targets of Barbarians since nearby settlements had an abundance of food with no real security. It was here Ghislain rescues a boy named 'Arel' who becomes one of the strongest knights(not the Strongest 7) in the future and decides to take him as his disciple.
3) After defeating the tribes, Ghislain decides to take the initiative and invades the homeland of Barbarians killing of all the tribes responsible for the current attack. Woroka another tribe leader who leads the alliance of 6 tribes was apprehensive to face off Ghislain since his strength was similar to Kutsu and Kutsu lost to Ghislain. Ultimately the two, Perdium and Woroka, form a non-aggression trade deal where Ghislain would provide food in exchange for the horses from the Barbarians. Ghislain takes somewhere around 10,000-15,000 horses from the initial attacks.
4) These horses are then given to the Elven slaves(since they are capable of resonating with nature in general) and he trains them to be able to shoot arrows while simultaneously riding a horse. However, they didn't have enough crossbows for everyone and while they were in the production- Desmond attacks Ghislain.
5) Ghislain was plagued on how to respond to Desmond's attack and decides to abandon the Stonehaven fortress but Gillain who was stationed in one of the fortresses at the border of the previous Cabaldi territory sends a message to Ghislain that he would buy them time for completing their preparations and that they shouldn't give up this land since that would become a major setback and delay Ghislain's goals by a lot.
6) Ultimately, with the timely reinforcements from Zwalter and Royal army's 3rd legion, Ghislain manages defeat Desmond.
PS: For anyone wondering, Ghislain promises the 3rd legion commander that he would provide financial help to the 2nd legion families who all died due to Desmond's sudden attack.

Not quite right. He learns quite a few things from the Dragon Ancestor and Zhou Fan realizes that he could die at any given moment by the Heavenly Sovereign and hence decides to distance himself from Qincheng for her own safety. Qincheng loses her mind and becomes hollow on the inside after learning that there is no chance of Zhou Fan surviving. When they meet again, Zhou Fan seeing Qincheng's state realizes just how wrong his choice was and that he should have never left her. Qincheng knew that Zhou Fan's path is filled with danger and she herself or even Zhou Fan could die at any given moment and was prepared to spend her life with him despite the risks. He tries to make up for it by spending the rest of his time with his wife no matter how dangerous it gets. However, in a battle against one of the Sacred Beast later on, Zhou Fan loses control of the Black Flame. The Apocalyptic Thunderflame was a power that goes against the natural order, more powerful than any Sacred Beast's power on its own. However Zhou Fan's body was too weak to handle that and at this moment he lost control of the flames and was about to be consumed instead. However, Qincheng saves him by absorbing the fire using her Void Spirit physique and instead dies instead. However, Zhou Fan learns from that particular Sacred Beast that Qincheng is still alive and he could find her in Sacred Realm.

These are the powers in order from Ethereal Stage: Ethereal Stage → Soul Harmony Stage → Genesis Stage. Genesis Stage is the last stage of Mortal domain and anyone above it isn't allowed to live in the Mortal domain and is sucked into the Sacred Realm(Zhou Fan doesn't know this because he just thought Mortal Realm has too little yuan qi for advancing beyond Genesis Stage).
Beyond Genesis Stage is the Spirit King Stage where the body sheds it's mortal coil. This is the stage when the cultivator truly becomes immortal gaining lifespan for millions of years.
After that is the Emperor Realm followed by Saint King stage.
Saint King stage was the Zhou Fan's previous life stage which he had just broken through with the help of Nine Serenities Inheritance. The stage beyond the Saint King Stage is the Sovereign Realm. There can only be 13 Sovereigns at any given time and the 1st and 2nd Sovereigns have strength greater than the Sacred Beasts. Beyond this there is supposed to be a Realm but no one ever achieved it. Zhou Fan achieves it at the end and defeats the 1st Sovereign.

MAJOR SPOILERS ALERT. The following contains spoilers from novel so read at your own risk.
1) Ghislain when he learnt that Desmond had marched toward his territory, he was surprised because he thought that he was safe for another 3-4 months. This assumption was made because he thought that with the royal troops stationed near them, Desmond wouldn't move irrationally. However, Ghislain realized that expecting Desmond to remain rational after experiencing failure after failure was and that he depended on his past life memories too much.
2) Since he wasn't yet ready to face him, Ghislain who was in Fenris territory decided that they would abandon the then occupied Stonehaven fortress. However, Gillian had sent a letter to Ghislain that he would hold Desmond for as long as he can so that Ghislain can finish his preparation. Gillion's reasoning was that they developed the previous Cabaldi's territory too much that if they let the enemy capture it, it would take a lot more time and effort for Ghislain to reclaim it ultimately prolonging his plans.
3) Ghislain then ordered the dwarves to continue making the crossbows as fast as they can so that the elves riding the horses can equipped with them. Ultimately, with the help of reinforcements from Royalists and Perdium, Ghislain manages to win.

In my opinion, the most annoying thing the Author did was to never fix their character. He tries to put spotlight on multiple side characters like Claude, Alfoi and others but in my opinion, their constant unrestrained personality is more annoying than anything.

Here's a few details from the novel for those who are interested.
1) Ghislain had never encountered the ghost women in the mansion but instead he went to her instead.
2) Ghislain's original name for the product was 'Lovely Bling Bling' but everyone in the Fenris territory was against it so he reluctantly used the name coined by the Delphine house in his previous life-Deneb.
**MAJOR SPOILER ALERT**
3) The name Deneb actually belonged to the Saintess from a thousand years ago.
