Umm i am not sure on this one though. I've mixed feelings in this comment of yours "arrest a demon instead of instantly killing it". Because in other manga, we have seen that there are nice demons as well. And and and, if we encounter one, instead of directly approaching with killing intent, we should try communication first.
But this is manga view. It's not like we're gonna see a demon in this world.

This is what I've been told from previous chapters where the emperor was planning to introduce Evie as her daughter and his successor, but appearance of the new girl puts it on hold. That girl, Eve, isn't exactly the emperor's daughter but ex- emperor (current emperor's brother) bastard daughter. The emperor tries to know the Eve but he feels something off and didn't exactly connect with her properly. But he gives proper time to Evie as well, but there's some jealousy part as well.

Alright then. I'll also be putting this on hold and come back in 6 months then. I don't think I'll be able to wait every week or something.

It's better to watch anime than reading this. It's far behind the anime storyline.
