gojo didn't fuck up. he was indeed arrogant but he did take sukuna seriously. his loss was inevitable but poorly executed. for example the retcon of the binding vow that sukuna apparently used that was revealed in the volume release. Again I am not saying Gojo should have won or the author is glazing sukuns(maybe he is) but the fact that the culmination of the fight was lacklustre is undeniable.
