I think us weekly readers need to take a look into the bigger picture. Deku needs to be a different kind of hero. This is not my opinion this is what the author has been telling us since the beginning. Deku can't kill Shigaraki, he thus needs to find a way to change him and simultaneously all the heroes AND the villains. I get it weekly it's hard to see the bigger picture. if you aren't enjoying it weekly try to come back to read it when it's done. All I can say is that Horikoshi is trying his best with the art, and the idea of the story is going consistently. At the very least that's what i see. Maybe some hardcore fan that made 41265652 theories on reddit and 648684646 fanfics wanted to see something else.(the last sentence is a joke please chill everyone)
